After she said she only went to rehab bc she was homeless, i was done. Thats not the rock bottom she needed to hit to truely stay clean. She just needed a place to sleep. Shame.

Actually no it's not it's one of the reasons that a LOT of addicts end up finally getting sober. I'm an ex heroin/fentanyl addict and when you have no where to go and you feel you've hit rock bottom and you have no other options you go to rehab and a lot of the time you end up finding resources and help and that's what it takes for a lot of people so when she said that I wasn't surprised one bit a LOT of addicts have that same reason

Just an FYI; everyone does NOT have to wait til rock bottom to get clean!! Just Bc u had that experience don’t mean it’s the same way for everyone. I still had MY OWN HOUSE (I bought ALONE at 18!) I still had my house, my job as an office mgr at the the biggest search engine.....I hadn’t lost anything except money. I went to rehab Bc my family found out and forced me. But here I am 6 YEARS later still clean, NO relapses at all, still in my home and still working at the same place and I’ve moved up in my career.
I feel like if there was a show called 'The Josh & Pumpkin Patch' I'd totally tune in ☺️
I love their growth. Pumpkin stepped up for her sisters and Josh stepped into a situation and stepped up to be the patriarch that the family needed. It's hard not to be proud of them.

I like that Pumpkin and Josh made sure their children had their own rooms and Jessica is on the couch since she is a temporary guest. Some people would have given her a room and had the kids share a room.

Gino is obviously physically abusive. It's been clear since the beginning, and no one will say it out loud. He is an abuser, and June's obsession with these toxic men is one of the main drivers of her ruining her life, over and over again.

She doesn’t think she deserves any better. That’s a self fulfilling prophecy and usually involves engaging in your own toxic behavior . Strengthening the dynamic and providing more “proof” that you’re not worth anything better.

Josh is ABSOLUTELY my favorite cast member!!! He’s definitely not perfect by any means, but because he loves his wife dearly, and knows just how much she loves her family, he goes above and beyond for them all, and it’s rare and commendable! OAN: Can somebody PLEASE get Alana into individual counseling, and the ENTIRE family into group therapy before she becomes Mama June?! We know that children generally duplicate whichever behaviors, language, and attitudes are most commonly demonstrated, and their mother NEEDS serious, long-term therapy.

Alana’s big sister and her husband are fulfilling June’s parental role, physically, financially, and emotionally, and have been for quite some time. He’s RIGHTFULLY over her neglect, disrespect, and self-indulgence, often at his family’s expense.

Thank God..having the TLC production and the public opinion probably helped her grow and develop extensively. She was finally exposed to people who had morals, values and good character, who could mentor her at that impressionable age and role models setting an example of how things should be in life. It most likely exposed the flaws of her life and upbringing. She would be a completely different person had it not been for the show and the exposure to people of different walks of life. I believe that alone helped BOTH pumpkin and Joshua grow into better adults.
The oldest Sister Anna doesn't depend on Pumpkin.

This show will never not be good. I genuinely root for all of them and I hope that life continues to pay Pumpkin back 10 fold for everything she’s done; she is definitely the glue to that family.

Well luckily for her during her impressionable years when she needed guidance the most she had the voice of the public what should be socially accepted and I'm sure TLC production staff who I'm sure come from many walks of life they were exposed to & that taught them a lot and gave them guidance. I'm sure just by reading all the public views was enough for her to grow and develop in a positive way bc the flaws of her way of life and upbringing I'm sure were exposed to her very quickly. I'm sure the praise that her and josh receive now from the public will Excell them even further as it has done so far. Children that grow up like that just need a little love and praise to grow up into confident and healthy people. You can see pumpkin never got it growing up so you can see she wants to make the public and her younger siblings proud. ♡

Josh has truly grown so much! I adore that man and how he looks after Alana. He is definetly good therapy for her to be around bc he will make her laugh and keep her happy as well as Pumpkin. I remember how in the beginning Josh had a rough patch and here we are today he is such a positive male role model for Alana and his own kids. They all have come a really long way and its beautiful to see the growth

Im so happy to see Alana has good people around after all she's been through. His growth I'm proud of bc she needed a good male role model around. I recommend watching from the beginning it is a really good show.
Maybe Josh is overprotective but at least he’s not under protective like the past fatherly roles in Alana’s life have been! Based on June’s previous relationships, Alana has never know a true gentleman fatherly role model who shoes her how she needs to be treated by her future husband, but now she does with Josh!💜
Pumpkin and Josh have been so good for Alana. I love the way Josh is with her. He is the best father figure she has had in her life. Cannot wait for the new season.
They definitely do a good job taking care of her, as well as making sure she is safe and is having fun.

I think it's wonderful how they both have ended up as adults. I kno that has a lot to do with the shows production and the public who she was exposed to that essentially taught her of what a healthy adult should look like..I hope that he reads all these positive comments about himself as a man and dad and continues on a great path as a father and husband.. they need that kind of praise to help them become the best they can be.. especially pumpkin im sure cherishes that kind of love and praise bc you know she did not grow up with that. I use to work with troubled youth from poor upbringings and sometimes that's all those kids needed was a little praise and love to flourish. ♡

I understand everyone's concern for Alana and her weight, but what about Jessica? It seems like she's doubled in size last season, covid could be a reason, but there's got to be more to that.

She needs the money! She says that she’s done with her career in tv. But, she keeps putting the girls through this because, she needs the money. Josh and Pumpkin don’t really have the desire to do the show no more because, they work and, Pumpkin said, last season when, she comes home she’s ready to go to bed. She said, it’s effecting them doing much else with their lives. Mama June has to keep the drama pot going cause, it’s about her and her needs, part of why her kids don’t want much to do with her no more.

I remember how nervous they were taking Alana in the beginning and now, they are one big happy family now. They're doing an amazing job raising her along her their daughter, other sister and now the new brother along the way

It’s kind of nice seeing Jessica back since she wasn’t on the show for several years. She looks really good and Josh and Pumpkin take great care of Alana and their kids.
June still doesn’t take owner ship for shit and refuses to listen to her therapist and it’s not pumpkins job to take care of her mom and let her live with her she a grown adult her mother can figure shit out on her own she a grown adult
Exactly! She makes me so angry. Her young daughter is raising her other minor child and she’s upset they don’t want to have any contact?? There’s absolutely no responsibility being taken, no acknowledgement for the pain caused, or even a genuine apology. I don’t like Geno, but June has been a sh*t mother long before he came along!

That’s June’s problem she expects her issues to be handled for her instead of stepping up and taking care of what she needs to do. Yeah being sober is great but being in an unhealthy relationship isn’t good for her especially at this point. I’ve been sober 2 years and my husband almost 2. We work together and stay in therapy and treatment to keep us going. It won’t work if your both on different pages.

Josh is one of the most amazing men EVER!! Pumpkin has grown into an amazing mother! Jessica is a good girl, we forget she's been through all this too. June dumped Jessica onto Doe Doe when she was very young and Jessie lived over half her life with Doe Doe. June let a convicted child molester rape Anna then refused to believe Anna when she told June about it. Lauryn was ignored growing up and Alana was made to be June's cash cow. The movie June was in was perfect for her DUMB AND DUMBER TOO.

Very nice house. Pumpkin and hubby deserve every good thing in life. I hope their family is as together as they seem on the show. I love the way that Pumpkin takes care of everyone while allowing her husband to be the man of the house and making all important decisions together. I love their little family and I’m rooting for them to have a happily ever after !

The way Josh is with Alana, can you imagine when his own baby girl is a teen and gets her first boyfriend🤯 he is going to lose it🤷♀️ the best thing to watch is how pumpkin is grown married 2 babies and stepping in for her sisters. As a child of an alcoholic a bad one at that. I wish he went and got help regardless of his reasonss. Yeah she went and got help because she needed a place to stay. Sucks that she wasn’t strong enough to pull it together for her kids fr but at least she got the help she needed at the end. Mother, daughters, fathers, brothers etc, we are all individuals at the end of the day. People struggle and fall into addictions to lick their wounds. Because I’ve been watching them since here comes honey boo-boo, I really pray that they mend their family relationship so that they can lean on each other again.
I think pumpkin and her family and her sister should have a show I love pumpkins family I love how sweet her husband is to her little sister I feel so bad with their situation
I love that the Girls were able to do amazing without their mom. Like yeah their weight is on the high side but they are in a clean healthy homes they did on their own.....So here is hoping things stay positive for the girls
