I would recommend a sort of reboot if you call it, they added stuff like the transport hog, oni van, and truck to forge. Also the target locator can be spawned

dude i am so impressed by this video. i havn't seen anything with this level of voice acting since red vs. blue, truly. i enjoyed every single minute of this and would willingly sit down and watch a full 2 hour movie of something like this. very impressive. please keep up the good quality work, it was a true treat to partake in ur video and i look forward to watching the others.

for me, the running dead is the second best halo machinima I have ever seen. The rise of the Spartan is the best for me, because of how long it is and how the story is portrayed.

If you think this is the best, check out Red Vs Blue by Rooster Teeth. Season 12 is out for pre-order on Blu ray, the rest are on RUclips. People put together entire seasons, but Rooster Teeth does them one episode at a time. Be patient if you watch the first one; it was made 12 years ago.

Or watch Reagan season 1 episode 1 for something that develops a story from the bad guy's point of view, RVB is great and really famous yeah, but you gotta give love to the hidden gems of machinima not covered by hundreds of thousands of views already :D I say that with all da love for RVB, I'm a huge fan as well.

Love the fact that a bunch of soldiers gathered and trained their guns on the dead guy just in case something went wrong. And the moment something did go wrong, instead of opening fire, they all immediately fled.

I might just have an explanation to the ‘zombies’ seen within The Running Dead machinimas. It’s obvious that the military had something to do with it. I do believe that this takes place within the Halo universe, since it has things such as Warthogs and Anchor 9. Here’s what I think the backstory of the zombie gas should be.
Back during the Forerunner-flood war, ancient humans/Forerunners (you decide) tried everything. One of those things was a type of gas, that would bring back the minds of the dead. They thought it would’ve worked because the flood kills the host, and brings them back as one of their own. However, it wouldn’t work. Because the flood aren’t really dead, and are still alive at the core of any flood form, it would only reanimate the tissue, and the primal instincts of the host.
Thousands of years later, the UNSC found the gas within a Forerunner shield world. They realised it could help them defeat the covenant, and attempted to use it. They attempted it on animals such as sheep, cows, pigs and even foxes. However, since it brought back the primal instincts of the host, they all appeared normal, however, wouldn’t follow instructions. They though it was because the animals they tested it on had no higher brain functions. What was strange however, is whatever it brought back, would have a craving for meat, even if it killed them.
