My friends and I go around and rate Machinimas. Here’s yours. We follow a 5-point rating scale, as well as a “Rotten Tomato” rating. The five points are: Story Quality Voice Acting Dialogue Runtime We felt as though the story was compelling. It wasn't too long or short and kept us entertained throughout the video. We concluded this was worth the full point. The quality of the video was decent. We liked how the camera followed the characters, but felt it was often tight. Granted, this was made on an aged game, so we decided on .8. We thought the voice acting was overall quite good, however, at some points throughout the video, it was often hard to tell what was being said. We recommend creating subtitles, (instead of auto-generated ones). We decided on .5. We thought the dialogue between characters was great. It created a sense of depth and really added a connection between the viewers and the character. However, we had the same issue as the previous part. In some sections, it was harder to make out what was being said. We decided on .7. Lastly, we felt as though the video was a perfect length. We decided on the full point. We give this video a 4-point out of 5 rating. For our “Rotten Tomatoes,” we take the total likes and divide by an automatic 800 dislikes. This is due to RUclips hiding the number of dislikes. For our “Rotten Tomatoes” scoring, it was 69.5 (though we rounded to 70%)
