It was so good to see this video. You have to be one of the most authentic and sincere influencers. I watched one of Maggie’s videos yesterday and mentioned how I don’t think “authentic” is the term I would use to describe her, but even more Emma. They try to use that term and constantly are posting the same videos basically. So many influencers are so money hungry and will work for anyone even if you know they don’t use their products. It’s terrible. And so many influencers have let it all go to their head. You are an OG and my fave and I hope for many more years of your content! Keep grindin girl! You’re amazing!

You can get some TikTok’s taken down for music. There is a library of music that can be properly used, especially once you are verified. TLDR I would look in to the specifics so you don’t get videos taken down.

I feel a lot of your confusion and stress at times even with an employer! So many things you talked about apply to all of us, not influencer specific, so I would think it’s not as surprising as you might think! However, I do think people underestimate the amount of work it takes to record your life in a natural way. 😊 your brand deals are seamless, which I so appreciate!
Also even with employers- health insurance premiums are nuts! I spend $700 for my husband and I. Ick ick ick! 😅

Okay I absolutely loved this video lol maybe because I find it super interesting and I’m a Questrom nerd but I have ALWAYS wondered about this for people who are self-employed.
Even with a “regular” 9-5 employer though it’s so complicated! Having to navigate health insurance plans, 401(k), IRA plans, etc. was like, a whole new and overwhelming world. I’m lucky to have parents who are financially literate, I remember calling them like 50x a day when I was thrown into it all during my first job and when I had to review all the new benefits when I got my current job’s offer. Can’t imagine what I would’ve done without my parents helping me understand, some people truly have to figure it out 100% own their own!
