Thanks so much. Yh, like most of these jobs, it’s only after you think “thank god that’s over, why did I do this to myself?” But then you sit back and look at it…
Hey man, how’s your summer so far? I’ll bet you know more about paints now than me for sure. But yh hopefully it won’t peel like an orange or crack into bits, time will reveal all, the white paints still going strong tho 👍
Seriously impressive!! :) Awesome job Oli!! I see that you got a new neighbour (Nigel - "The new boater") over the Jubilee Weekend. Keeping up with the comings and goings of North Kilworth Wharf is a bit like a Narrowboat soap opera. Thanks for the videos.
There’s also narrowboat hands, Ali and lee build the black swan, another narrowboat fit out and James started here, as well as our newest RUclipsr the new boater. I feel some overlaps coming It’s a breeding ground of narrowboat culture over here! 😉 thanks for watching and commenting 👍
Looks great, almost got the outside finished. Your making great progress, considering the drive time and having a job. Have you decided on the layout inside? Thanks for taking the time to share this with us.
No not yet, I keep sitting in the boat, trying to visualise moving through rooms etc don’t want to rush into something I’ll have to back peddle out of. We’ll get there, but for now there’s still much painting to do 👍
It currently not, it’s too low to get underneath, but it’s in very good shape, according to the hull survey I had done, no pitting (it’s never been in the water) just very light surface rust, it could be hand sanded and painted as is. Need to get it lifted higher for painting the base
Super video Oli! All that hard work prepping is showing in how the boat is taking shape. Fantastic outcome. Looking forward to your next video.
Thanks very much 👍
I love work. I could watch it all day. Top job Oli 😊
Thanks very much 👍
Very good volg hat and gloves are in order 👍👍👍👍👍
You’re probably right, but it’s super hot already, was getting faint in that glaring sun, I’ve never been so happy for clouds when I’m painting 😂
Fabulous job, looking amazing, pig of a job though, well done! She does look like a new boat. Best wishes Christine x

Looking great bro, nice to hear all the extra hints about the paint.

A good weekends work, wirebrushing, with an angle grinder, on your back, under the swim…not a nice job speaking from experience!!
Yh man, seeing you do yours gave me the confidence to do mine 👍
@@olivellanarrowboat4319 looking good,
How is the flat bottom protected ?
