Of course. I would suggest you do disable all the dlcs as shown in the video and then do a fresh install of the game. You might need to clear your steam cloud saves aswell :)
After disabling the dlc you should close the menu and try launching the game. Steam should uninstall it at that point. If that's not the case you could either reinstall the game or dig into the game files. Those can be accessed by right clicking your game in your steam library :)

Do I need to install the game first because the only reason Iam doing this is cut down some storage that the game takes
You don't :D You are able to uncheck the dlc's as shown in the video to prevent it from being downloaded with the game :)
