I think personally overall sound and price..Sony wins .I just the Sony for 99.99
Onyx 5 stands out with very deep tight bass. The others just have typical boomy midbass. Heard other sample videos of the Onyx Studio 5 from other reviewers and it consistently impress.
allan soria the only problem is that the deep bass of the Onyx becomes a Little muddy and undefined at lower frequencies and quick bass series ( high bpm ). I think the Membrane is little to soft and too slow. The HK Go&Play is not so extreme bassheavy maybe, but more controlled and punchier.
the xtreme 2 with lfm is really comparable too the onyx 5 but they come from the same fathers so that shouldnt be to suprizing

Bought the Studio 6 because of the deep base, super happy with it.
Bought it on Black friday for 150$.
Main drawback is the tiny battery. MSRP in Norway at launch was 500$, super overpriced.

LG PK7 IS the clearest and hits the sweet spots perfectly and it comes with Disco Lights. I love its boom sound. Sony xb41 sounds muddy in comparison but basier and a touch louder. I have both.😉
To me the PK 7 is the best balanced, but that cirlcle is killin it!!!!!!!

Bought the Studio 6(150€) for 'Black-Friday-Week', hours after ordering an Xtreme 2(150€), because i watched this video :)
Now Re-listening to this on my Studio 6, and will be returning the Xtreme 2.
The sound is even better then in the videos!
The only major drawback i know of currently, is the extremely stingy battery solution for a premium speaker... (1 tiny 18650-Cell, cheap laptops from 2010 have 6-8 of the same battery).
I imagine they would have alot more buyers, and alot happier customers if they spent 10€ and 150g extra to quadrouple the capacity.
I'll solve the battery issue with a batterybank, on the rare occasion i need it.
4/5 stars, -1 purely due to the main point of the speaker(Battery power) being half neglected.

here are my toughts about these 4 speakers..
1. The LG sounds a bit tinny and has a little amount of bass, so it goes straight to the 4th place.
2. The JBL Xtreme 2 sounds a bit muffled, but has a good amount of bass, but the high's are wack, so when you are listening to it in an area where a lot of sound is generated (ex. a construction zone) you can't easily hear it, so therefore this speaker is on par with the XB41.
3. The Harman Kardon Studio 5 does sound less muffled than the JBL Xtreme 2, since it has better highs, and it has decent bass.
4. The Sony XB41 has an OK amount of bass and good high's. This speaker is on par with the JBL Xtreme 2.

In my opinion the best is the Harman Kardon Studio 5 followed by the JBL Extreme, the the Sony and lastly the LG

JBL charge4 is bass mad and I love it.
The charge 3 is better and cheaper plus it has 2 mids the charge 4 only has a mono single
@@mlinger18 Charge 4 has better bass and you can't hear two drivers beacuse they're to close and one bigger driver is more powerfull than two smaller drivers, so it's better to pay 20 dollars more and having better speaker
Actually two smaller drivers are better than one bigger driver. The two smaller ones have more surface area and push more air while the charge 4 has less. The more air gets pushed the more bass we get.
Its the same with 2 10" subs and one 15" sub. 2 10" subs give much better bass than one 15" sub

For exactly $200 an Altec Lansing Xpedition 800 is extremely loud and has a ton of bass and is waterproof. Floats on water. Yes, it is large and bulky. But for 200 , it gets my vote.

The Studio 5 is an different league even when comparing with the Boombox, let's say you prefere the Boombox, no problem, Buy 2 Harman kardon Studio 5 it will make your floor shake and it will still be cheaper than a single Boombox

Download the sony music center app, start it up and go to the equalizer on the xb41 and turn up everything and then turn on the xb it gets way loud and the highs will kick in.

The jbl xtreme can go to low frequency mode where it acts like a subwoofer. Just hold down the minus volume button and the bluetooth button. So thats the king of bass.
Yeah, umm, but that is unsafe for the speaker, gets damaged more easily, the brand is overhyped, and no, it doesn't sound like a subwoofer, it sounds like two small speakers being tortured, because thats what it is, you cant hear nice deep clean bass, you hear distortion, JBL Xtreme 2 is shit in my opinion, Sony wins in this part, because it can play lower bass notes than the Xtreme 2 in normal mode

The harman kardon is so much more refined than the others, it's like hifi vs plastic boxes.
The Meridian Auto tune pk7 with its enhance base and clear vocal sounds absolutely stunning as the best sounding speaker in its price range by a long shot.. LG does audio better than everyone that's what their flagships are known foe.. Hifi quad dac Sabre Amp, and tuned by the British company Meridian as well.. It's a nice pairing..
i have the xb41. i like it a lot it is a very good speaker. and it is extremely bass heavy. to the point where it is sometimes overwhelming. and it isn’t extremely portable because it’s heavy. i tested both the xb41 and the xtreme 2 and the song sounded better.
