Got to love that spinning ball…. I’ve been seeing it a lot this week during my work. I have a habbit of saving almost every couple of minutes to preven losing a lot of work when a crash occurs.
Ya i save allot to. I have had nothing but trouble with the 2020 M1 mac mini. I think i have it down to something to do with the memory swap. Need to get a new one soon. but about 2000 reasons i cant atm... lol.... Thanks for stopping in man....
Oh man, my Mini even pre-dates the M1 and i really doesn’t have as much RAM in it as i should have gotten. Oh well it still gets the job done for the time being. The reason why i get a lot of spinning balls is that some of this modern day software wants to stay connected to the cloud, and if the connection is slow it just causes trouble. Especially Adobe Creative cloud, as the name already indicates. I like to just work offline instead when i can, and often things go a lot faster that way. I can’t stand this whole cloud thing. But i see some audio plugins need you to stay connected to the web to be able to activate. So often i just switch the wifi on/off to get stuff done. Pretty annoying.

On the old mini you can add more memon my old 2012 loaded it up to the top and it kinda runs... lol
