can you imagine that life 24/7 oh it would be terrible constant papparazzi and autographs and no privacy just constant aggravating lifestyle.
The Jug : That's why he understood it so well.. b/c he was literally born into it. However, no one he chose to be intimate with could handle it.. the loneliness must have bn crushing. I think, most #Artists R inspired by #children, but b/c his childhood was taken from him.. & he was the most famous entertainer on the planet.. the Beatles & Elvis had fans but not like #MichaelJackson .. Even those beyond space know who he is😉 How can anyone dictate 2 him what's normal? To deal with such fame, he had to be.. invincible. Most #People couldn't deal with that 24/7/365 it's just inhuman. Even now they still need 2 know every aspect of his life, but his kindness, humanity & openness to listen to his Fans, to children & to the most vulnerable among us speaks volumes abt the kind of man he was. Wow. How this world did not deserve him. We'll spend lifetimes following his example of Humanity.

Michael was amazing to work with on this commercial. We traveled to multiple locations for three months. We had three stunt Doubles, and it was my job to make sure they all looked like Michael. The commercial was directed by Joe Pytka, and it was one of the best crews i have ever worked with. The interactions between Michael and the stunt doubles were priceless. He had so much respect for his doubles and what they were able to do. i remember one day in the trailer he said to me, " Jc I think my doubles are so Brave, dont you?" The way in which Michael asked me this was so beautiful. I have never heard the word brave used before in a sentence. It was this innocence and curiosity that in my opinion was at the heart and soul of Michael's magic. It is a shame the commercial never aired. Joe was able to capture the very best of Michael's expressions. My favorite is his Smile at 2:10. God Bless Michael we all miss him so. Thank you for putting this video out there. :)

There’s so much symbolism in this video.This video was a representation of his entire life. RUNNING! He had to take these extreme measures in order to achieve some sort of privacy and normalcy in his life from all these aggressive, intrusive, parasitic people trying to get in. He became this spectacle for everyone to marvel at like some kind of animal or unknown species. If it meant jumping on to an airborne helicopter, jumping off of a mountain, or even traveling through dimensions, he was never gonna stop trying to find a way to be at peace. The scene when he lands and takes off his parachute only to reveal that he’s on a stage in front of thousands of screaming fans represents how even when he thinks he’s found some kind of relief, there’s still people to please. His life was a never ending show/performance. BUT... as a true devoted performer he must bare this curse and he must please his audience. I understand why they ultimately went with a Pepsi-fied version of “Bad” for the final product. This song didn’t make being a part of this “New Generation” sound like a very fun experience. It sounds like you’re selling your soul to something. You can tell that Michael’s inner turmoil was seeping into this song when it was supposed to be uplifting and fun and motivating people to buy a damn drink. The original version of this song, “Price of Fame”, is much more literal and deliberate and tells it all.

By the looks of this it im guessing when this commercial was shot probably some time in 1986 before he recorded the title track “Bad” (keep in mind he wrote and recorded the song “Bad” in October 1986). So A: Price of Fame was considered for the track list and Michael wanted to use this song or B: Michael already scrapped the song from making the album and wanted to make the commercial with the song and maybe release it as a promotional single.
