Let’s not forget that Redbull was the one that actually forced the FIA’s hand by submitting different “theoretical and not at all related to what we think Ferrari are doing” specs and asking for a ruling.
and? you sound butt hurt blaming everything on red bull, your boy hamilton went winless and was out performed by george russell in equal machinery
It's a collab work from both RBR and Mercedes. RBR bait the FIA, and Mercedes bring their entire customer team to lodge protest
don't you remember Lewis saying that the Ferrari exhaust smell is funny (Spa 2018) and Horner mocking him and says he should stop moaning, just for him to go full karen mode the year after ! lmao
@@yugarten8523hamilton always does that tbf. Whenever he is behind someone you can always here him complaining on the radio hoping that the FIA will notice.

Funny how Toto the whole admitted team messed up and are trying to understand their mistakes so literally used Monaco to suzuka to test stuff to be able to simulate stuff back in the factory and accepted all their mistakes while Mattia never accepted any mistakes
???
You're not a clown you're the whole damn circus
Toto is a smart man. The dude has everything, and he's one of 2 guys who is at the top of their respective food chain in f1. Nobody tells Toto what to do from overhead. He basically has free reign of the team and is being a team principal because he revels in the personal challenge. Toto could easily walk away from the sport today and be on the shortlist for being on the Mount Rushmore of team principals.
Binotto was trying to shield people from the blame culture in Ferrari. It's easy to be honest when you have 8 constructor titles behind you. Toto never built anything. He inherited the team from Brawn, Lauda and Schumacher, with Lauda still holding his hand. Now that they are on an equal budget with other teams, they can't just spend their way out of problems. And still they need to get the FIA to change rules mid season.
@@Ruylopez778 Spoken with no logic and all emotion. Might want to do some more research into that or don't and stay angry
I like how in DTS, every time horner had the chance, he didn't even hesitate to show how he despised Mercedes to the bone 😂
He still respects them though. Him and Toto often talked to each other and they both make jokes

I don't think Binotto is prepared to live in UK. Maybe working for Sauber in Switzerland cause if I'm not mistaken he's from there.
Why come to UK and pay 45% tax and 45% NI while you can get paid in Monaco with 0% income tax 😂
He has worked for RB in the past mate

@@hoverbike Seidl is CEO, not team principal. That spot is still vacant.
@@hoverbike Apart from the fact that Seidl is -team principe- CEO, not team principle, their skill sets are not the same and complimentary to each other. Seidl can built a team (at least this is what is attributed to him), Binotto can build an engine and lead a an engineering team.
I dont think VW want the guy who was team principal when Ferrari had their controversial engine in 2019. After all the bad PR they got from the emission scandal this wouldnt look too good imo. Furthermore Binotto wouldnt make a step down to being an engineer again.

Why would they want to?
Alternative title: Why water is wet
Mercedes is always quick to point out when others are exploiting loopholes and usually benefitted heavily. Whenever others protested something, it's legality was never questioned.
I like a few teams and i tolerate all the others but Mercedes, they're toxic to the bone.
Yeah... And Mercedes 2020 absolute domination didn't make anyone ask if that car was (il)legal.
ferrari is a shit team and mercedes isnt
Im so sick of people going on about Ferrari.
Who brought oil burning back into F1? WHO?! That's right Mercedes and when the FIA clamped down and introduced new limits on the amount of oil that could be burnt, who lied and said they would follow the new guidelines? Toto Wolff, then Mercedes went back to an older spec engine and burnt more oil than everyone else but nobody EVER talks about oil burning when Mercedes was dominating the early years of the V6s, but they did it and it's on record. Get over Ferrari thinking of a way to do the EXACT same thing.

I mean as a Ferrari fan it’s kinda expected they wouldnt like something that was illegal
Ferrari were the ones burning oil when it wasn't allowed. Red Bull had the flexy wings. Fuel additives? Not a thing and illegal and this gets checked. Also, what Ferrari did was simply illegal. The were tricking the sensors that checked the fuel flow.

Im so glad Binnoto was let go. He had some very questionable calls during last year that cost his drivers multiple placement losses. Lecler deserves better.
That man had no idea what he was doing. He didn't take responsibliity, like that was probably the hardest thing for him to do and he brushed everything aside and said it was already planned like that and they did a fine job.
Such a clown. Not a winner for sure.
Well, as a technical chief Binotto is decent.
Hell I wouldn't mind if Ferrari signs him again, as for his stints as team principal, eh, he brought back Ferrari from the back of the field to top 2. Yes his behaviour as a team principal is quite annoying but Ferrari politics.
Who should've also taken blame for the shameful displays over the last 3 years

Hilarious considering Merc's power advantage from 2014 till 2019 and even after that till Max finally ended their reign!! Especially since they forced the FIA to adopt the hybrid power units after Merc had secretly been working on it for 7 years before it was adopted! That was also how they had convinced Hamilton to join Merc !
The Mercedes hate is eating you bro , relax it's only cars racing
Didn’t know Merc developed an engine outside of the regulations, weren’t they just you know? Better than everyone else, at developing their engine and their aero package? That’s not an advantage, it’s just being good at their job.

They tyre test was in 2013 and a different spec tyre used across 2014-2021 so that’s irrelevant
Lobbying for certain rules is what F1 teams do - voice their opinions and wishes. Everybody does it in order to benefit themselves
@@spaf7835belum ONE test, and it wasn't illegal. And the lobby story is BS. Look up the actual history. Everyone found out about the regulations at the same time. Ferrari wanted a V8, Renault offered the idea for a V4 but was ok with any concept, and in the end it became a V6. The MGU-H there was no discussion about. F1 wanted this concept and there was no wiggle space here. If it was, obviously non of the teams would have opted for this because of the expense and how complicated it is. Mercedes simply had the best engineers in the beginning.
All teams have things that were banned or in a grey area of the regulations, toto was seen having conversations with binotto and also mercedes may want his knowledge and experience from ferrari, im not saying he will move to mercedes, i don't think he will but it's not a written off nove, mercedes probably don't want him for other reasons, they might have enough staff for a role that he might fill.

I think I can count on my fingers how many times something like this has happened in the NFL but it seems to happen every single year in formula 1. I love motor sports but this is very unfortunate
Toto shouldn't talk. He joined the team when Ross Brawn and Lauda had already developed one of the most dominant car and engine of the turbo hybrid era. He rode on coattails of that legacy until the new regs came in, and he fell flat on his face.
Not true at all. Brawn GP used the V8 engines. Sure Brawn had good aero with the double diffuser, but RB caught up and surpassed the brawn car by the end of their 2009 championship season. You have to give Toto credit because he crushed the 2014 reg changes and led an engine development program that was the class of the field from 2014 - 2021. Sure they got the 2022 aero regs wrong, but an 8 year run of form is unprecedented.

Why are you guys acting like Red Bull wasn’t questioning Ferraris engine either? 🤣Hoerner was out here saying it was something up about the engine as well.
Truth be told, it was in 2020, I actually starting watching F1 to where I am now i.e. in 2024, and I am quite startled by where the Ferrari team principle left off, on respect/admiration from Toto. I just await, on one hand, the relationship Lewis builds with Ferrari and extent not cut off from Team Mercedes. Thinking about his move, makes it feel even more awkward for me.
Not that I hope the best for him to gain that 8th Championship. It's his carer journey and I will support along the way. But that is all yet to come.
Verstappen still sparked that illegal engine myth though.
Red Bull were bigger rivals to Ferrari than Mercedes who were too far up the pace, untill Ferrari caught up in the second half but even then the other 2 teams had superior race pace. RedBull arguably was the better car in 2019.
It was down to Vettel's and LeClerc's skill to stay ahead so far.
I get it now.... so Audi's Board has told Mr. Wolff they need a scape goat for next year to put a blame on project that is not having strong enough traction. And so Mr. Wolff replied: it's simple- take Binotto.
