A tool-assisted speedrun does not use cheats/hacks to speed up gameplay, so any comments claiming this will be removed. Everything you see can be theoretically done on any Gamecube/Wii with any controller.

Timing starts at selecting the file. Timing ends when sword strikes Ganondorf's head.
This project represents the better part of a year's worth of hard work. I hope you enjoy what this game has to offer.
A few notes:
-Fadeout from doors is removed via hack. This is done to give a more enjoyable viewing experience during periods where I perform glitches with doors. Without the hack the game would go grey and you would be able to see nothing. The hack does not provide any advantages whatsoever.
-The tingle tuner cannot be displayed. The current support for using a GBA emulator for TASing is very limited. The tingle tuner used was built ground up for this TAS. It ignores incoming requests (such as map information) and only sends commands (like red ting healing or tingle balloon). Not having to emulate incoming requests makes TASing with the tingle tuner viable and easier to work with, but at the cost of not being able to display the GBA screen.

Supposedly, electrons move so quickly that they can be in two places at once and even bump into themselves. The same principle also seems to apply to little boys swimming across the ocean.

if d=r/t (d is distance, r is rate, t is time), to find t you must divide by r to undo it. d/r=t, which if substituted, would be 35/7=t. I don't remember taking 5 hours just to get to an island

Source engine's ABH is a lot more "potent" in my opinion but I can see how fucking ridiculous superswimming is. Like, you're actually a twelve year old kid moving at 100kph through the sea backwards. Side note, just noticed that a lot of speedrunning tactics involve jumping or swimming backwards...

So let me see if I have this straight.
Link can vibrate himself so quickly that quantum effects mean he is now in two places at once. Link and Quantum Duplicate Link resonate off each other with such intense amounts of kinetic force that merely ceasing said vibration propels him to SR-71 Blackbird speeds.
He has to do it in the water because it's a necessary buffer. If he did it in the open air, he'd escape the planet's gravitational pull and fly off into space.
I would say his body shouldn't be able to withstand all this, but given how many times he deliberately blows himself up and shrugs it off, I don't even know anymore...
My favorite part of TAS's like these are the comments putting the timestamps of their favorite glitch and quoting something funny as fuck XD

This is my favorite video to put on in the background while I work. I think I've played it over 100 times at this point. It's so nice to just hear the sounds of the game. It's an awesome TAS too. I hope more commentary-less TAS videos like this come along.

So what if we already have flying machines made with mine carts? I just want to see Link Super-glide, in which he creates an atomic clone of himself and zooms across hyrule at such great speeds he stabs through Hyrule Castle, killing Calamity Ganon instantly and dropping Zelda to the ground from the evil cocoon, and then proceeds to, while trying to land, yank the Master Sword at a force at which not even it could keep it from coming out, and then crash into a Lynel (killing it instantly) at the Elding Great Skeleton.

He learned the song, than the bomb killed him, so he did a trick called "zombie hovering" to gain height. he used the tingle tuner to heal.

Unfortunately yes. Fun fact though is the developers were aware of this and made a little easter egg if you tried it. You'll end up grabbing a broken brown urn and Link acts all disappointed. Pretty funny.

I stopped watching TWW's speedruns because, controller in hand, everything just seems to be optimisation for now.
This TAS is killing everything ! My knowledge of super swim are low... Please, can someone explain me how is it possible to perform super swim without storing ?
Don't quote me on this, but I'm pretty sure what they do is rotate the control stick 180 degrees every frame so that Link builds up that ridiculous speed.

Unfortunately, from my limited understanding of superswimming:
-Superswimming is different in a TAS compared to a controller in hand run and
-The only way to superswim without storing is to push the control stick in opposite directions once every frame, meaning that it's physically impossible for a human to superswim like a TASbot would.
Distilled Ink hello!!! i am an info fairy here to inform you that the 180 degree stick inputs are every other frame and not every frame! that means a rate of 10 inputs per sec with a 3 frame cycle instead of 15 inputs per sec with a 2 frame cycle (with the game running at 30 fps!) it's still an incredibly fast rate either way, and it's basically straight up impossible for humanity's fragile and slow, controller-wielding hands without pause buffering (which makes it possible but still hard as fuck!)
now that I've performed my duty as a harbinger for my fairy goddess of getting everybody educated, i'll take my leave! later champ! have a wonderful time if that's what keeps you going! i would say "have a wonderful time" and leave it there but i don't want to impose on your lifestyle because that's lame! i mean it seems like some people just love to be miserable and if they're fine with that why should I try to force my fairy happy times dust (that sounds like drugs haha and i guess they can be drugs if you want them to be!!!) on them if they won't accept my good wishes!?
