A contemplative demonstration of the self correcting and recuperating ability of akka.
akka - a single point high aspect ratio ’bird’ kite
in shifting 3-4 m/s wind,
occasionally dropping below 2 m/s
riding the wind, chasing it and riding again,
self correcting and recuperating.

Recorded in single take with camera in right hand and line reel in left,
without much chance of active piloting
except the occasional quick steps backwards.

HAR kites like this have always been a favorite of mine! One of the first kites I made was a large bird, I flew it the first time we met in Sala! YOurs is so steady here, beautiful job Andreas!

attractive kite flies well even without a tail it is stable. I really like it.
