Sam Oglesby 1 second ago I HAVE A SMALL SITUATION WHEN IT COMES TO REDUCING ANCHOR POINTS WHEN I USE MY BRUSHES. IF I'M CORRECT..I DON'T THINK THEY CAN BE ELIMINATED WITHOUT LOSING THE SHAPE. IN ORDER TO REDUCE OR ELIMINATE ANCHOR POINTS MUST I NOT USE MY BRUSHES AT ALL SO I CAN DESIGN ACCORDINGLY. THANK YOU SO MUCH AND LIKE YOUR TUTORIALS!!!
Awesome tutorial. Thank you. This music makes me feel like I'm a belly-dancing spy, who is joining a group of mysterious nomads to steal precious diamonds from a secret vault in Antartica. Cheers.
Thanks I was having a "rough" time with the smooth tool and this really helped explain how to get better results from the tool. I very much appreciate!!

This function is more useful when accuracy is not top priority or when points are there with no reason. BUT in your case it's valid to have Anchor Points if your design requires it. (Anyway In the end of design process you can always refine them if pathfinder/shapebuilder tool creates too much points).
Very helpful tute, but I have few questions. 1) What is the work of #angle_threshold? 2) In the first example why you increase the #angle_threshold? If we decrease the threshold, what change we will see?
A value between 0 and 180° to control the smoothness of corners. If the angle of a corner point is less than the angle threshold, the corner point is not changed. This option helps keep corners sharp, even if the value for Curve Precision is low. On first color splatter example, I used it to control of course angles :D It is not only for Straight Lines. It affects on a Curved path too. If you are having a problem to understand my answer, then I suggest you try along practically. It will make sense. Good Luck! :)
Thank you for this video 😁. I have another problem though, my text have millions of anchor points and if I simply there are reduced points but in irregular places making the editing problematic. I get anchor points after expand. Even after creating the text, when I click on direct select tool there are no anchor points. Please help

Is there a way to do something like this in Photoshop?
No. Photoshop is not that much friendly with Path compare to Illustrator.
@@vectorslategraphicdesigntu8991 :( aw. good to know, though. Thanks.

thannk you bro
You're welcome! bro :)
Thank you ❤
You're welcome! :)
Very nice! How how about a way to combine all of the lines that are touching eachother?
"Pathfinder" panel is just for that. Select them and Click on 'Combine' (2nd) button.
Totally Awesome (y)

Or is it?

You're welcome!
Hi, how would you make a offset path -4 mm in that shape
Please Watch this video for the thorough answer. ruclips.net/video/oaiLsMvKMVk/видео.html
Very nice~ ;)
Quick ? ...on the "X" the current path counts 13 pts. I only count 12. Are there 2 points overlapping?
Astute Vector First Aid ? No, not hear about it.... ((((
No, this is not about that.
Thanks for the vid! Like. btw why it tells "13" if there is only 12 points left?? datsweird
Computer don't make mistakes usually. Maybe there's overlapping point (which shouldn't be) or it's counting error.
I've that file. I'll check it out.
I checked, There's one point overlapping another at Upper Most Right corner.
Thx. Why is the music so spooky.
Great but I would rather use smooth tool.
Bhai please make a video on layer art
I will.
