I think the wood stain idea is genius. Wish I had considered it all those years ago. This was an amazing tutorial. I never did a celluloid relic .So I'm not sure if the stain would react with the celluloid and dissolve it. Mabey using coffee or shoe polish might work out better. Thanks for watching !

How long did you let the stain sit on the pick gaurd for?
I let it sit for about 20 minutes then rubbed it in. then added a little more around the edges let it sit and blended . Thanks for watching.
