Still Awesome after 2 Years! SenTiNel Spider-Man Peter B. Parker [SV Action] - Action Figure Review

- I grew up with the Spider-Man Animated TV series that aired in the mid-90s. Growing up poor, I didn't have access to the comics but this TV series got me hooked. Looking back, Spider-Man might be one of the reasons I got started into photography and film-making. Fast forward to the present, Sony has released a lot of Spider-Man movies, and the Spider-verse animated films are my favorites (Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse, Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse). The third film Spider-man: Beyond the Spider-Verse is expected to be released this year!
Two years after it was first released, and after 2 more re-issues, I finally got my hands on the SenTiNel Spider-Man Peter B. Parker action figure . SenTiNel have set a standard on how Spider-Man action figures should look, feel, and move like. Everyone knows it's an awesome figure already and I made this video to simply show why!
SenTiNel's Spider-man Peter B. Parker is a nice break from the usual swordsman and samurai figures I've been reviewing. It would be nice if I could get my hands on more figures by this toy company.
This SenTiNel Spider-Man Peter B. Parker review is neither paid nor sponsored in anyway. Please support my channel through likes, comments, and shares. I appreciate any input from you guys so feel free to leave suggestions. I hope you enjoy this video!
PS: An additional downside to this Spider-Man action figure is that when you bend his torso forward, the joints will inevitably be exposed at the back. It's a fair trade-off though for better articulation.
PPS: My plan to shoot and review multiple action figures at once backfired and it actually took longer for me to release one. I will now focus on doing 1 video at a time to make sure it's completed and posted as scheduled. Also, I'm almost on my first 1000 subscribers and I'm planning something to celebrate that! Any ideas?

GREAT review my friend, awesome job
Thank you for your kind words 😊 I appreciate it!
your reviews are such high quality, i just subscribed!
Thanks for the Sub man! That means a lot to me. 😍
Ha. Backgrounds are very clever. Pretty cool figure. Add some speech bubbles and write brief short story and you have your own short film.
Thanks! That's actually a good idea. I'll try that on my next video 😆
Love your videos. Just your voice and vibe is nice. Calming even if I don’t plan on getting these figures haha
Thanks 🤩 Sometimes we don’t need the extra hype and energy to appreciate stuff like these. What better way to enjoy a figure than to just sit back and relax 😊 Cheers! 🍻
@@studioaureal absolutely 👍
fantastic work.
Thanks 🙏 😄
Great review!
Thanks pre!! 😁👍🏼
I don’t own any sentinel figures, but this gives me a better feel for their products. Looks great 👍 excellent review 🤩
Thanks!! Glad it helps. 😁 If you decide to pick one, you can never go wrong with this.
Ngl, I have been thinking about getting this figure (still on the fence) but your video of it is very convencing! Awesome review!
There are loads of options with other brands but you can never go wrong with this figure! 😊
@@studioaureal Sorry for the late resposne as I have not seen this. I had actually pre-ordered this figure and I'm still wondering if I had made a mistake, since all i really want is a classic Spidey for my collection.
@@robertpolito9209 That's fine. I think it all comes down to personal preference. If you like the comic book proportions and aesthetics, I think Mafex would be best for that. When compared side by side, Mafex will look bulkier and muscular compared to this one. I'll make a bit of a comparison between Mafex and Sentinel on my next video. On the bright side, should you decide to sell SenTiNel Spider-Man, aftermarket prices are quite okay. 😁Hope this helps.
@@studioaureal Thank you! It just wondering if you made the right decion, you know? I feel like I need to get the "Ultimant Spidey" figure and it can be draining. I have to see if I should keep the pre-order or get Mafex.
@@robertpolito9209 I feel you. I used to buy a lot of Gunpla before, but actually streamlining and limiting purchases to fewer more quality goods made a lot more sense. It saves a lot of space and makes you happy everytime you see it. Dunno if this will help but Sentinel Peter B Parker looks thin and frail when you put him side by side with a more muscular Mafex Spidey.
I like your review style. Please do review more 1/12 action figures from Japanese brands like SHF, Mafex etc. Cheers
Thanks!! That’s the plan, cheers 😊🍻
bro thanks for reviewing my grail
You're welcome bro! ANd thanks for the comment. It's such a fantastic action figure 🤩
I preordered on bbts like the beginning of this year. Still waiting.
Hope you get it soon! I’m waiting for a PO to arrive from BBTS as well. It’ll probably come out next month. Cheers! 🍻
Awesome review I'd wish bbts would get their shipment so mines can ship😅
Hey, thanks!! Yeah it's a bummer sometimes they're really delayed. Fingers crossed they'll arrive soon. ☺
My one seems to just fall apart as soon as I try too pose it in different positions especially swinging poses but awesome figure. Love you're video you covered everything including back elbow joints, everyone else seems to just went it looking good. I have not seen someone do such a full detailed description, plus showing it. We have all had those figures that look great, yet as soon as you move an arm ir or a leg the limbs don't look right, yet you show it. Great review for the best Spider-man out there.
Thanks bro. Comments like this keep me going. 🥹 When I started conceptualizing this vlog, I was thinking of the other things that I hoped other reviewers would show or tell. There are loads of better reviewers out there, but to know someone appreciates the little things I add makes it all worth it 😁😁😁
your prolly just forcing it too much. be gentle with it
❤
Btw what brand/model of clear stand do you use bro? Cheers
@@ftj8279 I used the Tamashii Stage Act clear stand for this video and for my other figures. Got it from HLJ: www.hlj.com/tamashii-stage-act-humanoid-reissue-set-of-2-banc567871
how do you assemble the newspaper? wont the glue get all over the paper? and with glue stick or liquid glue? please help
Heya. I cut it and folded it in half. I used 2 layers/sheets for the photos. I did not use any glue as real newspapers are not glued anyway. So yeah, just fold it. No glue required.
but arent there multiple pages? how do you get them to stay together?
@@an0nym0us_themain_ The fold keeps them together.
Yo nice video ( I know that am late ) it would be great if you did a comparison video between sentinel and Mafex spider man
Thanks!! I did a quick comparison between Sentinel and Mafex on my Mafex Ben Reilly review. Check the time stamps, it should be after the Size Comparison section 😁😁😁 Might as well ask: which Mafex Spidey do you think would be best to compare Sentinel with?
@@studioaureal the comic spidey
Where did u get this railings from
Heya! These are from Hobby Base - Steel Truss Silver. 😊 They also come in red.
may I know the price of this figure?
btw, the review is very interesting and informative..
Thanks 🙏 I guess it would differ from which area of the world you’re in. But the retail price in Japan is around £70-75 for the basic pack and £95-100 for the deluxe which includes a huge gargoyle head. Plus shipping costs. If you’re in UK, it’s a lot more expensive due to tax and all. 😔
Where’s did you order this from
Yo! I got it from Hobby Link Japan.
Where can you get it in the uk.
Heya! PropsandReplicas.co.uk had preorders and Kapowtoys.co.uk have them on sale now. However, I haven’t bought from these stores before. I got this through Hobby Link Japan, and it’s a re-issue.
Thank you this helped
@@etrgamerx5975 Glad to be of help. Cheers 🍻
pinoy ka po ba?
Yessir! 😁
@@studioaureal great vids!! ganda ng information and way of explaining mo. figs look great too. tanong lang saan ka po nagoorder ng imports?
@@vrcstein_ Uy salamat!! Hehe. Madalas kasi sold out na sa online stores dito sa UK. So mas pre-order ginagawa ko lately through AmiAmi or HLJ. May isa akong inoorderan for Tamashii Nations Exclusive na figures pero di ko marecommend kasi kadalasan sira yung box. For some Chinese brands I also order through GianToys. Nagorder na rin ako before sa BigBadToyStore na US-based kaso may 20% VAT kaagad sila na sinisingil plus shipping fee so mahal doon hehe. May gusto ako i-try yung bombusbee.net pero so far wala pa ako napurchase sakanila. Hope this helps hehe 😁
@@studioaureal ahh sigi po akala ko po nandito ka sa phil:< mahirap mag order figuress pero nonetheless keep up the good work!
@@vrcstein_ Thank youuu 🙏 😌
