Thank you so much again for your insightful and helpful videos, it’s so useful and important having these processes explained properly, especially for interior Design students like myself who don’t have any professional experience 🙌🏻😊
It's such a shame that higher education does not include all of this business side of design profession. It really upsets me but at the same time that's how the idea of this channel was born. So I guess I'm kinda grateful 😁 Thank you for being here and taking the time to leave your thoughts ✌️🥰
The most popular way is a good old Excel spreadsheet to keep track of everything. I've heard good things about Programa but haven't had a chance to check it out properly. client facing documents will always be some form of presentation supported by a drawing pack and physical samples(for the finishes). Hope this helps! 👍
Thank you for your videos. They are very helpful, motivating and inspiring.💯 If considering being an Interior Decorator as opposed to Designer, what works are performed? Aside for, I imagine, floor plans and mood boards, does a Decorator do elevations and 3D computer visuals? Forgive my ignorance, would appreciate any feedback 🫶
Hey Anna! Yay, thanks for checking out the videos 🥰 I have to be honest- I don't know much about interior decorators but my understanding is that the main difference is that interior decorators don't do any structural work in their projects. So it more like styling+maybe new wall decoration.. we don't tend to have interior decorators here in the UK. I think the closest to it would be a stylist? But I might be wrong 😁 hope this helps!
