    The goobernor had nothing to do with it. He saw that he had no choice. It's about time. Uneducated people will not like it, but it's now the law. All the people now have the right to protect themselves. Those who CHOOSE NOT to, and are attacked, have no one to blame but themselves. With crime at a all time high, despite what the cops/media/gooberment say, it's only reasonable for people to have the right tools, to able to protect themselves, and their loved ones. Unlike "special" people, who have protection and the best tools at their disposal, we commoners now have the same rights they have given themselves. Once the criminals realize that the people, now have the tools needed to protect themselves, they will understand that we are no longer just sheep. Maybe aloha still has a chance to make a comeback from the grave.

    Like we don’t have enough crime in this slack justice state?

    • @happylivinginparadise9151
      @happylivinginparadise9151 21 день назад

      There is crime in every state, although crime numbers are down across the board. It was Republicans that pushed for more lax gun laws. Green and our AG tried to mitigate the fallout but it was a Supreme Court ruling that sunk us. Green had no choice but to comply with that ruling, that was the opinion of the AG’s office.
      No one is ever happy with how violent or repeat criminals are handled. How many, many times do we hear of criminals being released or found not guilty on a technicality or lack of evidence, subsequently going out to commit more crimes in mainland states (red and blue). So it’s not more lax here than any other state. Everyone has rights, even criminals. That’s rooted in the law of the land. Lucky we live Hawaiʻi. Lucky we codified abortion rights here so our wahine maintain that choice, so Hawaiʻi is a great place for us to live. It’s always an option to move to a place that is more in line with your political views.
