I just appreciate how Loz's videos get to business straight away instead of having an intro full of music and crap. Yeah we can skip intros but this is just better.
I think an into is good if it's a short intro and a long video, like under 5 seconds for a video over 15 minutes. But when people put a 20 second intro on a 10 minute video it's just annoying
Loz: Darling lets go on a roadtrip around Scotland now that I have retired. Do some sightseeing, lift some stones. What do you say? Liz: How many stones are you going to lift? Loz: All of them!💪💪
I've been training for the past two years, lifting heavy and getting stronger. It's a dream of mine to travel about Scotland one day and attempt all the famous stone lifts. I've got a long way to go if I'm ever going to lift the Dinnie Stones, but seeing this sort of video, seeing Loz lift these stones AND breaking the Dinnie walk world record, really does put fire in my belly.
I’m sure you’re well aware, but what a lucky man you are Loz. Such a wonderful family and that little one is adorable. So happy for her daddy ‘you got it!’
@@ryanbonner25 NH, USA. I would have to plan this out in advance and ensure I have enough vacation time. Do you have a business, or seizing opportunity?
@@tylerhebert8237 the latter tyler, if im around, we can easily organise something! i love whisky, stones and history too - ive been on loads of scottish road trips, it's worth seeing. i did think about starting a whisky tour business at one time. maybe i still will. do you want my email address? cheers, ryan
Loz, i love this concept of you lifting all those stones, i hope you will continue the series for long even abroad. Since the first lockdown i started to lift random stones that where near my house and since then almost solely are training with the stones i have collected. My trainingpartner and i have loads of them varying between 40 and 120 kg. They are not as well rounded and beautiful as those you have and cause all kinds of bruises, but mostly worth it. Love training outdoors.
Excellent press! I think the secret is in the kilt! It adds a fair amount of strength :) This is a fantastic stone tour - thanks for letting us enjoy with you!
Loving the stone tour in Scotland - another great video Uncle Loz and Aunty Liz ❤️ Will the Stoltman’s be making an appearance in this series? 🏴🌶❤️
I’ve always wanted to fly to Scotland and do exactly this, lift carry and throw heavy ass stones!! Appreciate the awesome content from your trip thanks Liz and Loz! Big love from Chicago
We all like and are here to see Big Loz, but could you fit in a wee update on Antie Liz injury from the classics? Like a true champion she looked in a lot better shape after the incident than when you pulled a few of your injuries ;)
Absolutely love natural stone lifting, such a historic feat of strength for thousands of years and really should be more commonplace in Strongman competitions. Stone tour of Scotland and of Iceland are two trips I certainly want to make in the next couple of years.
I thought about the lockout while watching. I think that locking it out overhead would require the hands to spread from each other....resulting in the stone dropped on your head. Enjoying the great content!
Years ago Ironmind did a T-Shirt with (I think) Steve Jeck lifting a massive stone whilst wearing a kilt. I loved that shirt. You certainly brought back some happy memories. 😊
I needed the closed captions at first but they my ancestors DNA flipped a switch and I was able to understand. This has been a greatbserious of videos. Retirement suits you
Just saw Kenji from Japan’s Strongest Unity who’s doing local competitions in Tokyo. He hopes to compete at International Heavyweight and is at 120kg log and 130kg stone I think. Maybe a candidate for Talking Strongman?
another great video guys may i say you have an amazing family its so nice that you involve your kids keep up the amazing videos thank you aslo for keeping us fans updated with events.
Man, do I love these stone lifting videos 😍 natural stones were the first thing i was passionate about, when I started changing my lifestyle from couch potato to meat head, and they still have special place in my heart ♥
Absolutely loving your channel at the moment Loz, I've really enjoyed this Stone tour and consider them a real purist strength achievement. The Scots sure know how to combine history with strength :)
I've collected a few natural stones from around my acreage for lifting. Nothing very heavy yet, but I am gradually working on lifting bigger and heavier ones. Doing it in a kilt just makes it even better! Maybe some day I'll be able to visit Scotland.
When I'm next in the UK, I want to try this. This is one of the stones I might be able to shoulder...just. You never know though. Loz makes it look like shouldering a 2L bottle of Coke, but I'm sure just lapping it is beyond most people! I even found a map of a load of strength stones around Scotland; there's an official site where they've managed to put most of them together in one place. A tour like this would be great fun!
You should set up a stone challenge in your front garden for strongmen now and in posterity. :) I suggested to Brian Shaw that he should find some local mountain stones to use during the Shaw Classic and also in situ as a stone challenge. Probably be the first in American history. I don't know if he will but he did like the idea.
Stone lifting becomes much more legitimate when you have someone with a thick Scottish accent commenting.
Gives it some serious clout
@@scottessery100 I imagine all of these comments being spoken with a Scottish accent.
You'll have to tour Iceland and lift all their heavy stones next.
I just appreciate how Loz's videos get to business straight away instead of having an intro full of music and crap. Yeah we can skip intros but this is just better.
I appreciate this too. I find intros add little value and are very tiresome when it’s a channel you watch often.
I think an into is good if it's a short intro and a long video, like under 5 seconds for a video over 15 minutes. But when people put a 20 second intro on a 10 minute video it's just annoying
Not gonna lie I skip the Stoltmans intro
Intro bullsh*t tends to build the ego of the creator, while Uncle Loz is too generous
Like always skipping the first minute or so of a Stoltman video because of their long ass intro lol
Loz: Darling lets go on a roadtrip around Scotland now that I have retired. Do some sightseeing, lift some stones. What do you say?
Liz: How many stones are you going to lift?
Loz: All of them!💪💪
More even than the incredible strength, I respect how genuinely decent big Loz is and almost all the other strongman seem to be. Great work!
Your family is adorable, Uncle and Auntie 🥰 Good times!

Sounds amazing! Lots of great stones to imprint with your own mark on their history
Love this. This might be the single most wholesome strongman video I've ever seen. Cheers to you and your family.
Loz is still a beast!
So cool to see! Luke took us down here a couple weeks ago to lift the stone, amazing location! Felt the history
Such awesome history with these stones.
I’m sure you’re well aware, but what a lucky man you are Loz. Such a wonderful family and that little one is adorable. So happy for her daddy ‘you got it!’
Awesome 👏 stones have many stories all over the world
did indian people used to lift stones too?
@@ryanbonner25 yes, almost every town had a round stone near temples
@@AniruddhaStrength that's awesome. are they still there? im hoping to go to india next year, if the world is fixed.

so glad yer gawn round scotland man and doing some stones! 1000 year history if no more on some of these

Nice press not easy on a smooth stone. Impressive I'll give it a go Oct. 2024

Nice job 👍 how heavy is that stone

A stunning place for stoning.
0:55 Liz thinking hard about renaming that stone to "The Big Loz Suppository Stone"

I can always recognize a TRUE Scotsman when he is speaking English and I can only understand HALF of the Words he is saying.
