  • On Saturday we took a run down to Cultra to walk along the beautiful coastline. You can walk this coastal pathway right the way from Belfast Kinnegar to Bangor.Thankfully, not every day in Belfast is wet and cold. This was one of our few T shirt days.

That looks a real grand spot for a walk round Tom, and decent weather thrown in for a change, its great to see the Stenas.
Weather here today is calm and the sun is trying its best after 3 days of constant rain, weather for you guys on Wedding day Wednesday looks like its going to be a dry but cloudy morning with a slight chance of a shower in the afternoon, but as we know it could change and change for the better, you've got to think POSITIVE.

Yes Chris. You can do a long flat coastal walk from here all the way to Bangor and get the train back, Chris. I did it years ago.
A mile or two would be more appropriate now.
Weather good here. We even had sun to sit out in today!!!!
We always are hopeful and positive but in the end if you live here you have to take what you get. lol

@@TomMcClean indeed Tom. I’ve been a train buff all my life! Been on Sydney to Perth train and toured New Zealand by train too. Love ‘em!

As people here often say James, 'Let the train take the strain.' I like the old puffer trains best though.

@@TomMcClean good saying, Tom. When I was in the MN when young I travelled all over the UK to join a ship or come home on leave. Most long distance trains then were steam. I had a lovely time then! Great memories.

Hi Tom, I hope you had a nice day out and about. Looks like you had decent weather for a change. I spent yesterday working on a little car I bought a while back. I had to get rid of my truck. Too much rust on the frame. Today I spent recovering from my mechanic activities (I’m out of shape and currently very sore) and talking with Inna when her power was available. Online dating someone from the Ukraine while in the US is an interesting pursuit which has a number of challenges. But we are beginning to figure out how to maximize our time together or at least deal with the situation. I also ordered an engagement ring.

Hi Greg. Wow you never stop! That was a good decision about the truck.
Yes it must be very difficult and frustrating for you and Inna.
      Wow an engagement ring!
      Keep going! Not long now.

Oh my Shaun. I wish I could send it. the grey cloud seems permanently settled on us. We just don't see the sun for more that a day then it is back to grey blanket coverage.

    Hey Tom…!
    Which Camera you use..???

Hi idonthaveaname. The camcorder I use is a cheap and cheerful, hand held, Panasonic HC-W580. It has a super zoom and has two cameras. So when you film forward you can film yourself. It is light weight and not cumbersome so you can easily carry it in your jacket pocket. I have bought these camcorders in Currys but I'm not sure whether they still stock the 580. ( I've had a few different ones. I have dropped a few etc!!!! lol ) They still stock the 380 version which is nearly as good and it is lighter. I had to buy this 580 online last time. The zoom is amazing on all the Panasonics i've had.
