I would love to see how the Yume S10 holds up as it approaches the end of its 6-month warranty! Do parts loosen up? Do the breaks still hold up? How difficult are tire changes if you get a flat? Are batteries upgradable and how easy is it to mod? A 2nd video that is more of a deep dive would be great. I purchased one today and I'll be doing that video if you don't get around to it. Thanks for the review!
HeyJared! Yeah, parts loosen up a bit and you have to maintain that every month I'd say. Brakes are decent. Changing a flat tire is pretty easy, especially ont the front wheel. Not sure about the battery. We won't be doing another review, so please share yours once it's ready! Cheers.
Very well balanced specs for real world (city) usability. I like the... a litle bit complicated way to change speed modes. Not very logical so if police stops you to check on your scooter you can quickly put it in first gear (limited to 20 km/h?). I bet no police officer would know how to change modes to the faster ones so they will leave you alone.
@@meipei2423 It is an amazing scooter! I'm 600 Mlles in with no problems. Make sure to tighten the bolts. Because the back fender may be loose. Tighten it and use it as a foot rest. Yume has uploaded videos on here showing how to adjust the brakes and things like that. Tires are great I didn't even slime them. I recommend 2 in 1 slime if you're a slimer. Haven't got a flat yet though and I bought this in June. I got 35 mph top with the limiter on. With it removed I got 53 mph before it got scary lol. This is a huge step up from Kugoo, Segway, or Gotrax. I've bought them all. Best scooter under 1k for sure. I'm going to add aftermarket long front forks like the y10 has. The suspension is great on here stock. But I like to ride on bumpy terrain sometimes. Download whatsapp. They will help you instantly if you have any questions. Yume could easily take over the scooter market if they hire a bigger team in America. Lastly but most important, PLEASE WEAR PROTECTIVE GEAR! Enjoy 🤘
@@imstarz9123 Wait the scooter has a physical limiter? Could you tell me how to disable it? My scooter is arriving around Friday-Saturday and I would love to try out 53mph lol. Also yeah I heard it was insanely better than the ninebot max. Had that one before and it gets boring after a bit. Also thank you for reminding me about getting protective gear. Going to order a full face helmet pretty soon and some knee and arm pads. I only had the regular sports cycling helmet for the ninebot so that 53mph will give me an excuse to return it.
@@meipei2423 I recommend leaving the limiter on. I would share how to remove speed limiters but not publicly. Because that could cause alot of riders to get hurt. I had really a bad fall where I almost died because I removed a speed limiter on a gotrax. They put these speed limiters on for safety. I ride with the limiter on because with it off the battery will drain fast and it's just not worth dying. Pretty much every scooter has one. And they are easy to disable. But if you remove the speed limiter, you must change the design of the scooter to safely match the speed. Bigger tires, upgraded suspension, big forks, etc.
@@imstarz9123 ah that's alright. Thanks for the little warning though. I was planning on adding a bigger battery and some better wheels anyways though since I heard smaller ones can make the scooter more unstable at higher speeds. I don't really know how to put better suspensions since it's a scooter that I don't know
I have a question about the headlight of the scooter, I wanna know if its useless just like in some scooters where you have to buy an aftermarket headlight or is it bright?
@@jones-sama I’ve been in the internet researching scooters and I start my new job next week . I need a good fast commuting scooter . Would you recommend this ??

There is no special footrest for the s10. However you can try to install footrests by the other brands, like Dualtron or Xiaomi. Probably you would also need to make some additional holes in the deck in order to make them compatible.
Hi! If you have some extra money then certainly buy one with dual motor. If you don't need that extra torque and you're not planning to ride off-road (like on grass, etc) then you would be fine with s10 too
48v 21AH. This scooter is pretty good value for $750. Sure if you go x2 price then you can find dual 2000+ watt motors and better suspension but for a budget commuter it's freaking fantastic. Beats Amazon scooters by a mile for the value
