Man, these Swarm Disaster runs are getting more and more crazier and I am entertained. I wouldn't even be surprised if you used a randomized team on a run and completely annihilate the enemies.
This needs more likes. As a Welt user, yes it's really helpful to jam an ultimate right in between enemy extra turns to cancel or further delay their ultimate.
yeah you can action cut by doing that - reason why i dont vs swarm is because my welt actually doesn't have enough ehr to land it consistently even with the swarm buffs/debuffs both your points are right but there's one more reason why i don't do this and it's to let welt take action first (critical boost and attack buff from a different blessing) - and when he takes an additional turn from breaking or defeating, he also gets additional attack from that other 2 star blessing so there are quite a few reasons and the main benefit of action cutting is to not let them attack you and prevent them from really moving at all but survivability wasn't an issue and i was just trying to maximize damage :)

Welt, imo is the best designed standard unit so far ( not strongest even tho he's close ) he's got a strong, flexible and satisfying to use kit that fits his character and lore perfectly and he scales properly with investment and good optimization with mutiplie viable options to build em (unlike a certain water dragon 😗 ). He's also a rare occurance where as a standard unit he actually scales heavily with eidolons even compared to limited units. I do hope we get to see em cook more on the story at some point.

Welt is ABSOLUTELY cracked with eidolons, I got e2s1 with him in standard banner and he basically has 100% uptime on e1 (ult-skill-skill-ult) Paired him with Yukong for more dmg and March for freeze, and enemies basically never got a single turn lmao
This one of many reason why I main and always will main Welt By the way, when you imagine him saying “It’s my turn 😃” every time he attacks it makes it 100% funnier 💀
I recently just got my first Welt but since I just started on October 11th I have a TON of farming to do... And relics to correct but they're just placeholders for now.

Welt=power like kafka. Is unpredictible ,hit hard as ST and do Aoe damage at the same time. To not mention it it has slow effect, which is good pair with Dan heng ability.
Idk if it was a bug on launch, but March shield counted as a buff for Dan Heng if I remember right. I’m not sure though, I haven’t used Dan Heng since the beginning.

Hah, I just E1 Welt while pulling for Topaz, so I just ran him through Swarm with Remembrance as main dps with Bronya/SW as support, and they just kept everyone locked down the entire time. Like 300+ turn order for enemies was common. Hilarious stuff.
Welt is uniquely unsuited for MoC, because he essentially speeds up your team by sending enemies to the shadow realm - but the cycle counter does not care how many turns per an enemy turn you get, it cares about your speed. Welt feels immensely more powerful in stuff without time limits, which MoC is not. Swarm Disaster, however, is a gamemode he kinda just breaks with a proper build

I got welt a while ago but I was building kafka at the time. Ngl I should start building welt cuz hes my only imaginary dps and I keep neglecting him for kafka comps. But now I have a Bronya and theres no reason not to delay Welt any longer.
