How to Weave a Scarf

What is the tie up and treadling pattern?

Where do people get their materials as in fibers and also yarns, rope? Newbie here.. Also... is there a lot of wasted yarn or fiber/cotton or I guess if you make your own you can re add I in.. This machine seems to make the process so fast. Make tons of stuff I'm a day..
