Banda que conheci pela influência do trabalho do Mike Portnoy, mas que me fez conhecer um grupo muito talentoso!! Viciado, dependente de Bigelf agora!! Puta banda!!!
Thanks for uploading and sharing the 1st album by the mighty Bigelf. Although the name is of course not knew, I admit that somehow they passed undetected under my radar. As many rightly said, they deserve more exposure and fame.
I've had this since it came out..... they'd been listening to Czar and Atomic Rooster for sure..... amongst others.... Best line up.... Froth, Fox and A.H.M .... this is their best LP by far....
Thanks for posting! I saw them in Feb 2009 and they played some of this old stuff for me since I had said I was unfamiliar with it. Great bunch of guys, Damon was really cool to me at the show. So excited for them to get the recognition they deserve.
When I listen this band from the radio for the first time, I wonder how this band is close to king crimson's style. Btw, a great prog / rock band, too much underrated.
Thank you for sharing this. The album has been out of print for years, and unable to find it for purchase digitally. It isn't on any of the streaming services either.
Lot of theories are coming from me and this band. The last song in this album The Bitter End has a distinct sound and rhythem. In their song Mr. Harry Mcquhae in their latest album Into The Maelstrom, the exact same rythem and sound is in the song for a segment of it. Not sure what it meams, but certainly interesting.
Thank you. I enjoyed every minute of this and intend to purchase every single Bigelf cd I can get my hands on.

I think that their first album is Closer To Doom, ain't it?

Awesome !
Death Walks Behind You is honestly the best cover song ive heard, I would have to admit it sounds better than Atomic Roosters original song
