  • We explore our own island! Fishing, adventuring and collecting bait in the middle of Noosa during the busiest holiday period.
    The gear I used in this video includes:
    Spinning Outfits:
    Light Flathead and Estuary: 2500 Shimano Vanford with a 270M Zodias Rod - 8lb PowerPro Slick 8 Braid and 12lb leader.
    Soft glide combo : 3000 Shimano BB Essence reel and 832 BB Hard Rocker rod with 10lb PowerPro Slick 8 Braid and 20lb Flurocarbon leader
    Family Combo: 2500 Shimano Sienna 7’ 3-6kg Combo. 8lb PowerPro Slick 8 braid and 12lb leader.

    Left Noosa 7 years ago. Showed this video to my kids and they immediately said; “That’s our island!” Was always a great place for an adventure with the kids.

    I laugh as I watch you with the kids John.I live locally and a while ago I pumped up a $2 coming from the Noosa Yabby Bank,right where you were pumping!I always tell my fishing mates ,come on and let's make a withdrawal from the Noosa Yabby Bank!!

      @@mylurebox you were in the right place for large whiting and monster flathead,got my pb38 cm whiting last season where you were.also ambushed by two monster flathead when bringing ina whiting and flathead.reckon imight need to getholdofso.e of your flatty lures !luv your coverage!

      I was going to solo mission it up to Noosa and stay for a day or two.. I’ve got no boat or kayak just land based fishing. Is it worth it? I catch and release

    Noosa is pretty well fished out sadly, however just like the night clubs at Noosa you do get lucky every now and again.
