I established my own Australian collection this year, I bought 2 egernia hosmeri in August and l will get a varanus tristis tristis in 2 weeks. Do you know whether Hosmer's skink hybernate? It's impossible to get good textbooks on Australian skinks in Europe/Germany.
I’d have to check on the song. I’ve deleted the video off my editing app so may take me a bit to find it. Most Aussie reptiles will brumate but I’ve never kept hosmers so can’t no for sure.

I’ve used them in a few for a while however I think they get picked off a fair bit by the lizards.
