Ah okay, had a suspicion it could just serve as a step in the story content but I was hoping it wasn’t so. I’ve been waiting for the stable release to start a new world and go through all the new stuff proper, thanks for the confirmation!
Spoilers for that last teleporter... It returns you to a location with an important npc where the story content seemingly ends currently and will likely pick back up in the future. The reason it may not have worked is do to the chunk not being loaded with the structure. Cheers
I experimented a bit with rickety translocator, when you teleport from *story location* first then it works at home base normally too. No idea if that's bug or intended feature but it does indeed work
I imagine that’s likely intended then as you shouldn’t be able to obtain most of the items required to construct it before that. Appreciate the confirmation, that’s on me for waiting on the stable release to go through the new story bits!
