I accept that advocate should have knowledge about the case.
But the court date is allocated by the judge and all parties are compulsory to attend it. And advocate might not get time to understand the whole scenario.

The lady Army Major is not just an Army officer but she is an Army Lawyer who has completed her LLB and is in Army JAG wing. They study all the civil laws and the Army laws too.
Then she should get the facts also not just force her way through

Interpretation of the judge sahabs pause would not necessarily mean the lady officers knowledge but probably can also mean his doubt( as a part of his evaluation to come out with the best justice)

मेज़र महोदया का स्वयं का केस है इसलिए फुर्ती दिखा रही है यदि जवान का कैसे होता तो यह मुंह में दही जमा करके अधिकारियों के पक्ष में खड़ी होती । यदि यह योग्य और ईमानदार है तो इसके कोर्ट मार्शल की नौबत क्यों आई ?
जिस यूनिट का सीओ इंसानियत वाला होता है, हकिकत को समझने वाला हो, दोनों की सुनकर, समझाने वाला, समझने वाला हो तो कभी किसी भी जवान का कोर्ट मार्शल नही हो सकता! मैडम अपनी जगह पर ठीक लगती है!

Iv been a part of army and associated with it as a journalist it's a shame that how is one officer raising a fingure on the other officer in uniform ....blameworthy or not is still to be proved but what is lady officer is doing seems that more than being a representative she is taking out personal grudges ....we should not comment on something that we r not sure about ....judge vivek Aggarwal is doing a great job in being transparent this lady officer needs to understand she is a part of a system not the whole system
Mam, army act works a bit different from CrPC , IPC . Her lawyer was not ready and she's from JAG branch. It's her duty to defend her client ( in this case army ). It's upto the petitioner to counter it. I am myself and officer in border guards and been part to cases against dept and in favour of dept. She did nothing wrong and argued really well , it's upto the other party to counter.
This is the difference between Non Arakshan and Arakshan officers... Salute to the Confidence level of a lady officer... don't know who is right and who is wrong... Honorable Justice Will decide...but liked it .
There's no aarakshan in defence but that doesn't mean ki civil officers who are from reserved category are completely inefficient.
The Army officer herself is a officer of JAG branch and she had been in one of my matter in army court.

I know of a case going on between Army and Insurance for years despite being a clear cut case.
The govt councel has been delaying matters .
Ultimately both the govt counsel and counsel for the Insurance company keep it going on so that they continue to be getting their fees
अरे भाई जी, ऐसे निकम्मे वकीलों के कारण ही, क्लाइंट केस हार जाते हैं। उस निकम्मे वकील को Army Acts/procedures की जानकारी ही नहीं है।
ऐसे वकील को केस ही नही देना चाहिये
वकील से ज्यादा परिपक्व तो महिला ऑफिसर लग रही है जहां तक मेरी समझ है

Poor show of preparation by the Lady Officer..Actual facts hidden viz when was the alleged delinquents identified..CGSC are the competent lawyers who represent in the High Court, who are often not properly briefed of the facts..

I am proud of this Lady Army Officer.
Looks like the JAG has managed to impress the crowd but the Judge himself. She is a trained lawyer of Armed Forces. Her primary and only job is to represent Armed Forces in legal matters. However right she might be in this case (which no one can figure out from this one video clip), she was almost given a shut up call by the Judge. He was extremely patient, kind and understanding towards her. I respect him a lot for that. On the other hand, the JAG officer came across as impatient, immature but knowledgeable. She will do well by displaying patience and more humility. I'm not surprised that she was called to argue as she's the foremost person who has to know all about the case. Not surprised at the legal counsel/advocate was set aside by the judge for not studying the case and come unprepared. These civil defense counsels are waste of money and time who end up representing army poorly. But that's the quality of govt lawyers today. Sad.
