- Cerakote is the proven leader in thin-film coatings and has never looked better than when it was applied to this Rodeo Adventure Labs Carbon Fiber Trail Donkey 3.1 and Spork 2.0. Cerakote is the obvious choice for any bike building.

• It can be applied to many substrates such as metal, composites, plastics, carbon fiber and more
• Made in the USA

Best spray job I’ve ever seen!
Ryan was my trainer 3years ago. Great person, nice work brother!
Yes, great guy and a pleasure to work with!
AYE That’s my uncle !!!! 😩❤️
Play this video with your eyes closed and you'll swear it's a trailer for a new Terminator film
Super nice job - inspirational for sure!
Thanks so much!
Ive been looking into cerakote for a custom bike job. It looks so good, and durable to boot!
I want to add bright highlights to my bike for visibility. Im thinking tequila sunrise or a teal. Perhaps a yellow but that feels a bit TDF for me?
I also want to create my own retro reflective accents using reflective powder and a clearcoat/silver. Im trying to pull out all the stops on saftey, while making a cool look for the bike. Im thinking black/orange for apocalyptic vibes, or white/teal (bright blue) for Tron vibes.
What temperature did you bake in the oven with the Carbon?
Would love an answer to this as well.
Really nice work! I use a Sata 4400 SR and like to go a little wetter for a truly silky feeling finish.
No Clearcoat over it? And why do u do the decals in the end, not in the beginning?? Anyway, great job!
Hi! Great video! Please tell me what frame size is suitable for long-range adventures? Model Flaanimal 5.0. My height is 186 centimeters.
What temp did you put it in with the tape still on? And was that just normal painters tape?
Wondering the same thing.
What products serve did you choose? Do we must put the bike painted into a oven or it can dry at normal temp?
wow 😺 very cool 👍
Thank you! Cheers!
Amazing!
Thanks!
Did you rough the surface of the orange lettering?
Curious if you run into adhesion and durability issues if you rough it up with scotchbrite rather than a low presssure blast?
@Ian Burgess that's my whole point. aoxide is and rgarnet are really the only accepted media. But I guess it's less important for non-metal substrates? It could also be that a bike frame doesn't really see much wear and tear on the finish. It's not going to flake off, just won't be as durable as intended
@@droppingpackets I was wondering the same thing. My guess is that the epoxy has different adhesion characteristics and you can get away with paper / pad prep. Perhaps Cerakote wouldn't be able to certify the job to the normal standards but for a bike frame it's perfectly functional.
We've done both methods and haven't ran into any adhesion nor durability problems.
Badass!!
How much weight does a paint job add?
For this bike frame about 180g.
My Iwata hasn't looked that good since the day I took it out of the box...
We clean ours thoroughly every day after a days use to keep them looking new and performing to its optimum.
Why is the other carbon fibre cerakote video made for kids lol
How long does a gallon last ?
It all the depends on the size of the unit you're coating and how many you're coating a day.
