Sandblast Peterbilt 379

Sandblasting a peterbilt 379 Frame
where the fifth wheel was, the rust was thick. I will be doing a video on painting the frame and a few other things on it.

It’s there a safe way to sandblast an aluminum cab? I’ve heard sandblasting aluminum will deform it and it shows through the paint or one needs to do extensive filler work! Is this true?

Certain parts you can, gotta be really carefully or it will warp on you. Wouldn’t recommend trying, sheet metal isn’t cheap.

Another upstate new Yorker here about to bite the bullet on a dustless blaster.i been cutting trees for 32 years time to do something more rewarding.i got the skills hopefully I can get work .ha
