    After the Rebuild of the diff did you still have the slack/Lash when turning the pinion back and forth?

      I did, but not nearly as bad. It’s much tighter now. Not sure if that is due to better internals or cause of the wear of the old ones. Either way, it’s so much better now 😁

      I sure hope so because every differential requires it. The new one will be the same after break in.

    How has the diff held up? Do you have a parts list of what Jenety installed?

      @@Folsomfamracing the price was just about to increase when I purchased. I’m sure it’s now over $3k, but you will need to contact them directly to get a correct price.

      I just upgraded my 2010 Camaro to Yukon 4.11ring pinion, Yukon master rebuild kit with Truetrac. Total parts were $1600. JRE quoted $3200 complete so they charge $1600 labor which is ridiculous. I always thought it was voodoo but it's not. Downloaded the Yukon install instructions and read all 20 pages and watched a bunch of videos to prep. Once the diff was out of my car, took about 4 hours to swap parts and my ring gear paint is textbook, better than the mona lisa. @@Folsomfamracing

    Part number for the heat shield material

    • @allenwoolsey
      @allenwoolsey  Год назад +1

      Hey Robert. I just ordered a roll of their stick on heat shield material. I don’t remember the part number, but it was just a generic roll.

    Why 3.91 over 3.73?

    • @allenwoolsey
      @allenwoolsey  2 года назад

      It was what they had in stock. The 3.73 would have been a longer wait time.

    Hey where did you source the axles? I cant find them and need oem ones having problems with aftermarket. And my 1le oem part # is discontinued. Cars been down months

      I got lucky and found a place that had them still in stock. I believe I took their last ones. Sorry that isn’t much help.

      Yes it is. It's called backlash required for all differentials.
