- It's Here! Season 3 of Macy's Parade Balloons is here! And to start if this season is the 1st Video Game Character Balloon in the Parade's history, who is also my most request character to date with Sonic the Hedgehog in the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade.

Thank you so much for making this! Also did you know sonic appeared as a costumed character on a Macy's float back in 2001? I really hope sonic returns to the parade soon especially with the movie doing really well and a sequel coming soon!

Frankly I think nintendo should have capitalized on bringing mario to the parade this year for his 35th anniversary. But I guess nintendo doesn't care that much about that even though they've allowed pikachu to represent pokemon numerous times now.

and here we are now in 2021 and Modern Sonic is making a comeback to celebrate the game's 30th anniversary! 😄
For this occasion i made two drawings, but showing the same subject: one showing Sonic being interviewed by Al Roker and another which shows that Sonic brought the whole gang (in this case Knuckles the echidna, Tails Prower, Amy Rose, Sticks the badger, Cream the rabbit, Sally Acorn, Bunnie Rabbot, Jet the hawk and Dr. Eggman, of all people) to see the parade

I'm a lifelong Sonic fan and it sucks that this balloon was cursed.
I think the fault lies with the design. There isn't an even distribution of size, with the front "his head" being much larger than the rest of his body.
