@@l1m0b0at3 yup, this show really is the closest we have to "the new Game of Thrones". Violent, graphic, anyone can die, great characters, deaths bring more story, ect.
Cindy is a major misdirection her power isn’t focused or controlled enough to pop heads. When she escapes she is obliterating bodies and walls. It’s either Edgar or the church
Someone pointed out that Cindy doesn't even explode people, she implodes them, crushes them down with weight and the pressure causes them to explode, which is why she closed and tightened her fist to crush the security guard.
From the UK, too, gonna back the consensus. Butcher's accent is an absolute hoot. It's sporadic, but it's great and I think Urban is having a lot of fun in the role and it really comes across. Butcher is really one of the best fictional motion picture characters I've seen. Definitely up in the top ten for me. Somewhere around Homelander and Frenchy varying episode to episode. The show continues to surpass my hopes and I'm absolutely secured in for the ride. To further echo a point Aaron made - Any time Homelander is on screen I feel physically uncomfortable. Be it warming up breast milk, having the really violent sex with Stormfront, killing people or intervening in Becca's life and now Ryan's "kidnapping". He's such a goddamn presence onscreen. That "treading on broken glass" feeling that at any moment, he might snap and just explode. Honestly such a find as an actor to play Homelander.
I think Ryan might be Stormfront's endgame. Somehow the first natural born 'Supe' is the key to developing stable compound V. Maybe she's been using Homelander to get to Ryan the whole time.
Homelander destroyed her relationship with the love of her life. I don't think she cares about much of anything anymore... except revenge... I think she's gonna try to kill Stormfront.
11:50 incorrect, Cindy implodes/crushes things. Have the directors been misdirecting us by doing this, where we've basically seen only one - half of her abilities? That would have to be the case, no? 13:30 plus, Cindy was in the hospital when whoever explodes head did it to the CIA lady right in front of the Boys when she realized it was probably a coup from the inside. If that was Stormfronts doing by proxy of Cindy then a looot of other things would simply make no sense, as far as inaction. She could've and would've just killed them all. Vought(Edgar) and the Church have far more to gain by keeping the Boys alive and spying on them. Lamplighter referencing Cindy regretting something she was made to do doesn't necessarily mean it was Raynor's killing. It is a clever misdirect that Stormfront didn't kill Cindy, though. The Church could still be involved, maybe by being able to kill anyone who drinks Fresca because it has a nanoexplosive. Remember that Shockwave was killed at that hearing. He was A-Trains replacement in the Seven. A-Train just joined the Church, who promised A-Train his place back in the Seven. Edit: the more and more I think about it the more I think Stormfront and Edgar may have a deal with the Church that no one is aware of but them.I agree that Stormfront is obviously playing Homelander and this plot could be a part of that. "I promise no more lies" or whatever she said could be total BS and she just told him enough to keep him placated Could it be a red herring that Deep grabbed his head as if he was afraid it'd happen to him too, after being a Church member for so long (maybe after he saw Shockwave die)? Or did he just do that because he's a dingus? I honestly can't tell

My dudes... it's not Cindy. She's not a head exploder, she's a crusher. She crushes. Also if Stormfront had any control over Cindy she probably wouldn't have tried to kill her on sight.
My take on Cindy's powers, from what what demonstrated previous episode, is that she has telekinesis - not limited strictly to imploding. She killed the people she killed using TK implosion but could also use TK in the "opposite direction". Not that I think she did the court house attack - just my take on her actual powers.
@Melly Reed Actually she's imploding them. If you play the hallway security guard shot in slow-mo, you can clearly see in a few frames that she compressed his whole body like a pancake... of course his insides squirted out in all directions... ew.

17:34 Why would Stormfront "put on a show" of killing Cindy? Put on a show for who? Lamplighter was the only person Stormfront thought around? And how would Stormfront know how durable Cindy is? The guard who shot Cindy multiple times clearly had no idea.
I really hope this show goes on for at least 5 seasons and continues to gain popularity. Although the boys definitely doesn’t require a huge budget to be great I would love to see what they could do with the budget of something like game of thrones I think that having some huge fight scenes where they can really show the characters using there powers against each other at their full potential would be awesome
I feel that it goes against the show. The Boys can't go toe to toe with supes, it just isn't possible. That's why there's so much blackmail. The Boys can use the hero's public image as a weapon and use deceit than just straight up fight them. It be cool to see some smaller scale fights like Starlight v A-Train or Kimiko v Black Noir and show some good fight choreography. But The Boys have to be smart when they fight the supes, and that's what makes the show more interesting than the books.
Yea I i totally see what ur saying And right now it definitely wouldn’t make sense to have those big fights but I’m talking like in like seasons 4 or 5 when they have a lot more supes and maybe the boys will have more powerful supes on their side
@@TheRealBoss1113 Good fight choreography? I thought the fight between Kimiko and and Black Noir was genuinely awful, but I just ignored it since it's not really the point of the show as far as I'm concerned.

I really like the idea that Stormfront's German/Nazi name would be Blitzkrieg lol i really hope they say some shit like that was her German name under Hitler
It's not Cindy, if it was Cindy, Stormfront would be headless...... Also, powers are not consistent w/ the 'head popping' we see, a very specific and deadly attack used multiple times. If it was Cindy, that guard's head would've popped, not had his whole body explode
I am worried about Maeve dying fighting Stormfront per their fight in the trailer. Hoping Starlight is able to drain her powers to use against her. Homelander could kill Stormfront if she outs Ryan. They definitely setup Butcher to be a good father. Homelander could be looking at Maeve in that scene in the trailer, knowing he ruined her life and tortured her when she did nothing to him.
IT'S NOT CINDY. i.imgur.com/wt6NUM4.jpg Cindy crushes people which is more like an implosion. The heads are exploding. We also have seen multiple people show the power of telekinesis... Kimiko's brother, the kid Lamplighter torched in the facility, and Cindy. We know there's multiple speedsters. Ryan and Homelander appear to share powers. Stormfront and Starlight as well seem to share a similar power but completely different levels of mastery. Why are you so quick to assume it's Cindy? It's very clear that Cindy is a red herring in my eyes. My guess is Alistair from the Church is a secret supe.
I agree with everything except Stormfront and Starlight having similar powers. Stormfront seems to have straight lightning/electricity powers where as Starlight has these concussive bursts of actual light.
Etticos I never thought this. My only thing is they made a point to show that Starlight draws her power from a source. I’m hoping she can draw Stormfront’s powers from her to use against her & this is what defeats her.
Cindy is almost certainly a red herring, my guess is either Edgar or Alistar since the church has the greatest motivation to help vought out of such a tough situation in order to gain some influence within the seven by getting A train back in to prevent shockwave replacing him
Also, The scene in Ep 5 where Stormfront is on the phone with Lamplighter, they were not talking about Cindy. Lamplighter says "Look, he's just a kid... You don't got to look him in the face". He, him.
I think it's Victoria popping the heads and she's working with Stan to try and break up the 7 so he can replace them with ones that are closer to his vision of the company, not stormfronts
I hope they adapt the supe pills next season they used them in the comic to fight supes only Grant's them abilities for a lil amount of time I also hope they adapt herogasim next season look it up guys🤣😵🤣😵🤣😵
I don't see the cindy connection, yeah she has powerfull telekinesis but I didn't see she exploding anyone head, just the head, she implodes the entire body. I think it is someone who can only explode head, since it's the only thing they do.
One theory is that cindy didnt kill all those people because when we see cindy use her powers, they are more implosive instead of the explosive style the head make in this episode
Ben/others - I'm a Brit and thought butcher's accent was a good British one. Thing with the UK is our accents change over smaller geographical areas more than other English speaking nations (probably where we're so much more densely populated?). Over within 20 miles and you can have quite different accents so someone who moved around a bit (in your main accent developing years -below 13) could pretty easy have his accent. As for the auntie and mum, I thought they were both clear British accents with no trace of Aussie or anyone else. The dad I wasn't to sure about and wasn't so sure his accent was right. Out of interest neither the ashes, nor the SAS would actually confirm the character couldn't be Australian too as they're between them and uk and they have their own (very capable I might add SAS) modelled on the UK SAS. In fact the two work really closely and regularly send operatives on secondment with each other. The thing the Dad said that did confirm he was supposed to be British was the grounds he mentioned taking butcher too were all in the UK. Old Trafford - home to man Utd (though this may have been referring to lancashire's cricket ground), surely at least a good percentage of US/Australian/Canadian/kiwi etc viewers would recognise that?! Even with their recent awful record they're still the biggest sports team in the world along with Real Madrid and Barcelona :) ;) :)
After hearing this I definitely think that billy does what he did in the season 1 finale with Stilwell but it works this time and he kills Ryan cuz he’s homelander weakness and then the cliffhanger this time is homelander going full villain and doing sumn like he daydreamed in the protest wit the heat vision
in the boys season 2 trailer there's a scene where Maeve punches Stormfront in the face. I think Maeve does go against Homelander and Stormfront in the finale and she gets killed
Still unsure about how/why Homelander has so much blood on his face (earlier Boys Season 2 Trailer). Assuming this footage remains in Episode 8,...He lands in a field covered in someone's blood. Might his Son (Ryan) also have his head explode while mid-flight with Homelander?
I really don’t see how anyone could think the head exploding was done by cindy, she clearly uses pressure to crush people. Just because it looks like an explosion doesn’t make it so
Remember when starlight said she couldn't be with huey bc it was too dangerous but the next episode goes on a mission with him then the next episode goes to see her mom
So are they using the ending to introduce Butcher's plan? Its pretty terrible and it was perfectly set up since last season and even in the pilot when the red herrings were killed.
What if the clip of homelander looking distraught with blood all over him is meave confronting him he gets so angry kills her and realises what he's done because I do think in his own fucked up way he does care about her
I don't like superheroes (Marvel in particular) but I love The Boys so, for me at least, was exactly like game of thrones and people which didn't like medieval fantasy.

Also them wanting lamplighter to have a redemptive arc completely drives me nuts
Amazons website lays out all their powers very specifically
02:30 lol, I genuinely didn't know Butcher was supposed to be British until one of the season 1 characters said he was. Sounded 100% Ozzie/Kiwi to my English ears
freska explodes heads
I really like the idea that Stormfront's German/Nazi name would be Blitzkrieg lol i really hope they say some shit like that was her German name under Hitler
Nah thats to obvious, i think it was probably Sturmfront or something more literal
IT'S NOT CINDY. i.imgur.com/wt6NUM4.jpg
Cindy crushes people which is more like an implosion.
Maybe its some kind of bomb in the head higher ups have incase they go public with sensitive info
She is definitely a red herring for another character we didn’t know was a supe. Likely the church or Edgar.
Shannon T that would actually be great
Stan said vought sells power!... I don't believe Cindy's power is unique!!
Cindy is almost certainly a red herring, my guess is either Edgar or Alistar since the church has the greatest motivation to help vought out of such a tough situation in order to gain some influence within the seven by getting A train back in to prevent shockwave replacing him
My words as well
Queen Mave dies, that’s the blood on homelanders face and why he looks upset
Daddy’s home. They have soo much fun making this show. 👍🔥😎
Butcher is a Supe and his power is getting into any room we wants. Season 1 he gets into the Deputy Director of the CIA’s office totally unnoticed
Newman was left alive to be humiliated.
I so hope Stan Edgar is Swatto the fly. He was on Payback. Stormfront's supe team. Or Tek Knight made a weapon
i just love this shit cause it passes time at work and i like hearing shit about tv show easter eggs or what not
Good thing there’s some soup cause I’m hungry 😋
Also, The scene in Ep 5 where Stormfront is on the phone with Lamplighter, they were not talking about Cindy. Lamplighter says "Look, he's just a kid... You don't got to look him in the face". He, him.
They were talking about the depressed kid who was taken from his parents. The one Butcher puts down after flipping the van.
Reason homelander looks so upset it's cuz he's looking at queen maves dead body.....
Dun dun duuuuun......
Surely he would be the one to kill her
Heard you talking about the fly and then saw a fly land on mike pences head during the debate, i really thought sh*t was gonna hit the fan lmao
Ryan turned real quick didn't he....
I think it's Victoria popping the heads and she's working with Stan to try and break up the 7 so he can replace them with ones that are closer to his vision of the company, not stormfronts
Ashley!... keep a eye on Ashley there something special about her!!!
I hope they adapt the supe pills next season they used them in the comic to fight supes only Grant's them abilities for a lil amount of time I also hope they adapt herogasim next season look it up guys🤣😵🤣😵🤣😵
Billy is the Wolverine
Homelander and stormfront in front of the flag were parodying Patton
I don't see the cindy connection, yeah she has powerfull telekinesis but I didn't see she exploding anyone head, just the head, she implodes the entire body. I think it is someone who can only explode head, since it's the only thing they do.
It's not Cindy. It has to be someone we haven't met yet.
"Say what you want about the American public, we´re not big fans of Nazis."
Ummm.
You make a pretty good point.
Would you like to say something more than "ummm" there, OP? Your comment is a waste of people's time. Write something with actual info in it.
After hearing this I definitely think that billy does what he did in the season 1 finale with Stilwell but it works this time and he kills Ryan cuz he’s homelander weakness and then the cliffhanger this time is homelander going full villain and doing sumn like he daydreamed in the protest wit the heat vision
No way, they setup him to be his father perfectly.
in the boys season 2 trailer there's a scene where Maeve punches Stormfront in the face. I think Maeve does go against Homelander and Stormfront in the finale and she gets killed
You guys ever going back to the animated vids?
he's accent is much better thid season last season he broke out in his kiwi accent a few times now its just a bad cockney accent but still works
In fairness thing happened where it was dangerous it stay at Vought.
her tracker had been removed.
How about: Stormfront kills Becca. Ryan kills Stormfront. Homelander is named secutary of defense
You’re right about two things, lol.
don't even slightly think its Cindy blowing up heads. think it is the church but nothing to do with Cindy
So are they using the ending to introduce Butcher's plan? Its pretty terrible and it was perfectly set up since last season and even in the pilot when the red herrings were killed.
Do you think the head popping has anything to do with the tracking chips? When they took that chip out of Starlight wasn't it damn near in her neck?
It's not just supes that have their heads popping though.
I posted a whole video on who i think the head popper is. I don't think its cindy. She isn't that precise
I think Cindy is a red herring.
What if the clip of homelander looking distraught with blood all over him is meave confronting him he gets so angry kills her and realises what he's done because I do think in his own fucked up way he does care about her
Butcher is supposed to be from Australia lol
I don't like superheroes (Marvel in particular) but I love The Boys so, for me at least, was exactly like game of thrones and people which didn't like medieval fantasy.
Why do we never see the deep and the A train out of there sup outfits but we see some of the others?
Supes gonna suit!
Apart from Queen and Starlight, do we actually see any of the others in different outfits? I mean, Translucent was in his birthday suit, but still. 😂
What would be the Church's motivation to sabotage this trial?
I totally missed it. Sorry. I'm still lost in the dark in terms of their plans.
Karl urban's accent is ok but his dad's was diabolical for real
I got plenty of love for Karl Urban!
I can't find the Cobra Kai reviews.
When is the episode 8 review coming?
There are trailers for each episode, why only use the season trailer ?
So Cindy's power is implosion, right? She crushes things. But the heads looked like they **exploded**.... So....
Also Cindy is a super cute name
Yeah she actually immediately made me think of the the crushing super hero from Incredibles 2
My top 3 death predictions: Maeve, Ryan, or Mallory
Lamplighter wasn't banging college girls. They had just "applied" to colleges aka high schoolers.
I feel like Teddy is grasping at straws 😂
@3:05 no ted
Deja vu?
Plis do a Lost rewatch
Teddy seemed extra clueless this episode.....
Does anyone remember which video had their face reveal?
Fuckin diabolical can’t wait to watch stormfront get exploded
