I really wish these videos were numbered per show.
Yes!!! Been saying for years! I just want to watch in order but you can’t tell -#they never see my suggestions
Abso-freaking-lutely
Or just 1, just like Harry’s
Same here. You must be caught between pt.1 & pt.2 like me
@@ASethdevotedjackal 🙌🏼 I agree. Hate to watch the interviews in random order.
Fun Fact: Both actors Hugh Jackman and Anthony Hopkins have played the character Van Helsing in major motion pictures - Anthony Hopkins first in 1992’s “Bram Stoker’s Dracula”, and in the mid 2000’s, Hugh Jackman in “Van Helsing”.
And sadly, I hated both movies 😞 #sigh
@@asrexproductions I disagree. Bram Stoker’s Dracula was a beautiful looking horror film that was very faithful to the novel even though not 100% perfect. Van Helsing was a great fun entertaining action horror film even though it may not be as memorable as The Mummy (1999) and The Mummy Returns. But hey, at least both Bram Stoker’s Dracula and Van Helsing are still better than that terrible Mummy movie starring Tom Cruise.
Hugh Jackman ... one of the more personable interviewees and always a pleasure to listen to! I enjoyed him on his various "Graham Norton Show" appearances, especially with Patrick Stewart and Ian McKellan, and he remains the same interesting individual in this interview with Colbert. I think I could enjoy a long dinner with him!
That was one of the best interviews of all three of them together! Still rewatch it every now and then.
I love Anthony Hopkins ❤
Hugh Jackman is a great human and ❣️
He is a (huge ac)t to follow, (man)!
Two heart throbs on one set is overwhelming. 😘
The Father.....is a FABULOUS MOVIE
Huge act, man
I love Jack human
🖤you Hugh I hope you won oscar this year
You can tell that Stephen throwing to the ad break happens at the end of the interview as Hugh's martini glass is much emptier compared to when Stephen starts asking Hugh questions again a few seconds later 😆
Finally someone else noticed this. The intro in this video was re-done after the end of the other video when he took the next sip. _[ not that it really matters, especially a week late ]_
When smoking was more prevalent in shows and movies, I'd watch for (actually more like notice - as opposed to exhibiting obsessive neurotic behavior... really....) the length of the cigarette or cigar to catch continuity errors. I mean, not that it bothered me, really... not _really_ ...
Uuum, I couldn't help notice in your account picture, you have an eyebrow hair above your right eye that's about an eighth of inch longer than the others. You might want to trim it if you haven't already... not that things like that, uuum, bothers me _...really..._
Love this interview!
Best interview of the year so far
I worked w Tony Hopkins in Worlds Fastest Indian. One day of work. Better than my wedding day. ❤
Haha. Would your spouse mind you saying that?
That must have been an experience if it was better than your wedding day, unless your wedding day was a disaster. Did you get to interact much with Tony?
I got to work with him and Alec Baldwin for a couple of days (minimal interactions but got to talk with Tony casually with my friend* ) when I was the forest consultant on the set of the movie 'The Edge' in 1997 plus I also assisted with their location scouting for the outdoor scenes.
*My friend and former high school classmate, John Clothier, was the main camera operator for that movie. He referred me for that job, being professional forester very familiar with the territory and an expert in forest mapping and aerial photography for the area (Banff and Yoho National Parks and surrounding areas in the Alberta and B.C. Canada border through the Rockies). John was also the main camera operator for 'Legends of the Fall' in 1994 which Tony also starred in so they already knew each other.
As an aside, John was a year behind me in high school but his sister, Jessica Clothier, was in my year. She has been a major script supervisor for almost 80 major hit movies, occasionally working with her brother in the same movies - Godzilla (2014), Lake Placid (1999), Josie and the Pussycats (2001), Mystery, Alaska (1999), K2 (1991) and Shoot to Kill (1988) plus many episodes for the drama series 'The Commish' with Mchael Chiklis and Gina Belafonte, daughter of Harry Belafonte.
Their stories about Betty White relentlessly flirting with John, trying to embarrass him throughout the filming of Lake Placid are hilarious.
He is so handsom man! His wife is Luckiest woman in the world!
Who else thought Deadpool would walk out, in full costume, after his comments about Ryan Reynolds in the last clip?
Everyone likes Hugh Jackman
Thanks 😊
It's all fun and games until the census guy knocks on the door.
this just started happening recently, idky some of these videos don't show up anymore in the "video" section on the channel ?
STEVEN RIPS THE MOMENTS OF THE DAY!🎉😂🎉😂🎉😅
❤
I’d have the same response if Hugh Jackman texted me LoL 😅
🤨 Okay. Now... I'm _subbed_ to _The Late Show_ and I've selected to get _all_ the clips they upload, but _this_ clip didn't appear on my feed. In fact _three_ of the clips they uploaded from this episode didn't appear on my feed. What's going on?
I personally don't use the feed. I go to "Playlists," and just watch all the clips from each episode.
The hope for „Van Helsing 2“ is still strong.
that is one sequel that is not needed. Have you even seen that movie?
@@eddiedutra3359 Aw! but what about....."Van Helsing - The Musical" ??????
Fun Fact: Both actors Hugh Jackman and Anthony Hopkins have played the character Van Helsing in major motion pictures - Anthony Hopkins first in 1992’s “Bram Stoker’s Dracula”, and in the mid 2000’s, Hugh Jackman in “Van Helsing”.
@@dceplay as did Rutger Hauer in Dario Argento's Dracula 3D. (Which is almost as bad as Stephen Sommer's Van Helsing)
As much as I still enjoy Van Helsing starring Hugh Jackman, I think the Van Helsing reboot will be more interesting. But if they are going to reboot the Van Helsing movie, I suggest that Van Helsing this time will be more like Nick Fury where he is the boss, the leader, the master, and the owner of a secret organization similar to SHIELD from the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
You can really tell they edited a bunch of clips together by tracking the fullness of Hugh's drink lol.
is this video unlisted or am I tripping? I can't find it on the yt page i have to follow the link from the first vid.. edit. also the view difference. 40k here vs currently 140k
Man, tv is really annoying right now, less than 3 min segment and 5 min ads?
Why is that a great lesson for upcoming actors?? 🤨🤔
John doucette talk about Henry Hathaway
Hmm. Continuity.
First comment! 🎉🎉🎉
Nah, you're a cliche that is an hour late.
🏳️🌈
Colbert has lost all of my respect after his carny sideshow with Prince Harry. Shame. I will never watch hin again.
the continuity of this interview is really bad... it starts with Hugh's drink being less than Stephen's, but somehow is at the same level in the middle of the interview... bad editing....then it returns to the same level at the end of the clip
Colbert is great - - - but why is there so often an alcoholic drink involved in his interviews? So old fashion and does not add anything.
I think it's to add casual atmosphere to the interviews, so it feels more like a chat between friends. A good example of this is The Graham Norton Show, they serve drinks to the guests and the chat is always so lively like a group of friends hanging out at a party, not to mention Graham Norton being such a great chatshow host.
He is being a good host.
Even actors can get nervous during interviews and a little alcohol may take off that edge.
Really? I think it's nice and clearly the interviewees appreciate it, as well. Obvi adds something
@ 0:11 And Hugh's drink is mysteriously much fuller than it was in the previous shot.
The "magic" of television?
M 🦘🏏😎
I first noticed the drink time-warp with the recent Tom Hanks interview that featured the Cocange drink.
❤
