Can someone help me with making a gradient ball? She usually uses them making mountains and islands but I just can’t get the commands right and just overall am not really sure what to do.
I would assume the easiest way to do this is with the replace brush, just make a splatter brush you want, and set the replace material to replace the thing youve already created. So use /b sb cm for example :)
Worldedit has a great command for snow, I'm sure voxel does too but i don't know it from memory unfortunately. If you have access to worldedit, try //snow :)

She does use a lot of commands, but she also does a ton of hand work! It takes a lot of time and patience for sure, if you want to see exactly what she is doing, she uploads her live streams :) I'd check them out!

Yes you need a server in order to use voxel, it is a plugin, not a mod :)
