    Just put Michelin Pilot sport A/S +3 on my WRX. Coming from Sumitomo tires prior. So far I have a more comfortable ride with better stopping and much better handling grip. I would recommend these for anyone’s daily driver.

      I love my as3+. Have them on my tuned 335i. They wear excellently and for my driving style on the street I couldn’t tell much difference between the pSS. Looking to add the P4S on my E90 M3 though.

      I’m running the A/S 3+ tires on my Genesis G80. These are the best set of Michellin tires I’ve ever owned. Previously I ran the Defender on my Toyota Avalon, and I liked that tire, too, but the performance is night and day. Wet weather worries? Get the A/S 3+, it’s like a knife through hot butter. I can’t say enough good things, these tires are tremendous! I

      AS3+'s on our 17 WRX in 255/40R18 have been stellar in all conditions. Especially a good deal if you can still find them as they are being clearanced out at around $125/each to make room for the AS4' s.

    Dude, like the content, but let people talk. You keep cutting the guy off before he’s finished or even at times starts...watch how they interview on the news and tv shows...you got a little better mid way, but almost lost me at the beginning, just positive constructive criticism. :). But awesome channel and content.

      My c6 z06 has A/S 3+ runflats manufactured in 2017. Drove them in the rain last year and caused me to crash. I was barely on throttle, not driving hard at all.

    A/S 4 is now standard on the C8. All season tire. The Super Sports are more of a track pure Summer Tire. The 4S can do track but, has wet and some other in mind. He is predicting the A/S 3, later the 3+ becoming the A/S 4. Slight improvements and (composition) for the 3+ and then sidewall and tread on the current A/S 4. It's like I want from a Winter tire to a A/S tire on snow and felt the different. Of course between the Super Sport and 4S, there is a difference. One is almost a track only tire (dry road) and one is a summer tire with some wet.
    Michelin does produce the best road tires but, the naming has to be differentiated better. They will even admit this. Pilot Sport A/S 3 3 + 4 4s Super Sport. 👌

    I run a F1A supercharged C5 with 18 lbs of boost . It was mustang dyno tested and tuned at 756 RWHP and 606 Torque. I go through a lot of tires as I daily drive it and live in the mountains.
    In winter I only run Michelin A/S 3 but first gear is useless for traction and second gear can slide out as well. They last a long time for a sports tire and have great road manners.
    In summer I run Michelin super sport for track. Great grip while they last but they do not last long on the rears .First gear also useless , second gear has some chirp but controllable.Great feedback at high speed turns and gives great confidence .
    Another great tire for high horse grip on the street is the Toyo r888r but my God they are so noisy and wet traction is sketchy at times. This tire handles power though better than anything I have run except for true drag tires of course. They wear down about as fast as the Pilot super sports but lack the finesse on the track.
    I have used the NT-05 and the Invos as well. They are both good tires for when times are tight or on a budget.
    I hope my experiences help someone out there.

      Yes but PSS more performance focused, not as good on road. I'm going to have to decide same thing for my Supra. Usually OEM specifications are better than the stock tire. ruclips.net/video/X18tjycJoqI/видео.html&t=

    I replaced the OEM Super Sports with the A/S 3 + ZP and the ability to drive in all temps make it a great tire. It it quiter than the Super Sport Run Flats.

      I live in West Texas and the temps can range from 20 to 60 on any given day. My GS is a daily driver so I need a tire that can take the temperature ranges out here. The AS 3+ ZP does that for me.

    • @UhhhhhnooOOo00oO
      @UhhhhhnooOOo00oO 2 года назад

      A/S vs Super Sport. Completely different tire and use. A/S 4, is now the tire of choice -- discontinued the A/S 3 and +. Also, they have made improvements in the last 15 years on ZP (Run-Flats) but, I'd still never own one. Run Flats are Run flats because of the rock hard sidewall and other. They still dint give rhe ride of a non-runflat tire. On my original 2008 BMW 335i coupe, (I well made tank of a vehicle) those run flats were like driving on concrete. Now they are so much more supple but, still not up to a non RF/ZP tire. (ZP is to throw you off of the dreaded Run Flat designation = Marketing) I won't get into my Infiniti Q50 Rin Flats. 9 tires later, they gave me back my 3 year 12,000 dollar lease after finally putting on Non-Run Flats. Those were the introduction of Run Flats. Again, today they are much better. Still, I wouldn't own one on any vehicle. Sorry, especially I wouldn't own a GM vehicle...do I Eben have to say Chevrolet? Rhetorical (Wheel problems and lazy for 50 years corporate problems) Reliable Chevrolet is a oxymoron. They have the nerve to name some of their dealerships and service centers that around the country. As if, that will change 50 plus years and make their products reliable. I wait for the day, that I can buy an "American" car. I'd even pay more. Toyota products or older Mercedes (non-turbo non-4cylinder) cars only. Yes, Metcedes naturally aspirated and I consider it a fun upkeep project. C8? Decent vehicle. Besides all the problems and service. Not buying one. F-150 and C8 or the only 2 considered okay. Notice that the F-250 and F-350 are so much better vehicles? Because business wouldn't take the crap manufacturing and parts that the regular consumer has to. Their businesses depend on it. Same with Chevy and the Heavy Duty.
