Shopping at "Tabris" Supermarket in Krasnodar, Russia

Many people still believe that it is difficult to find products in Russian supermarkets due to sanctions. In reality, it is quite the opposite in most supermarkets in Russia. While in Western markets there is often a limited selection for profit reasons - usually a cheap brand, a private label, and an expensive premium brand - there is a wide range of different suppliers for most products in Russia. Of course, this does not apply to every small store, but it is definitely the case in large supermarkets.
This time I am in Krasnodar in southern Russia and I am taking you along on my shopping trip today. The supermarket is open seven days a week and 24 hours a day. So I could have shopped even at midnight. If you miss some products, it is certainly due to the sanctions. 😉
