I’m so happy my grandma was able to buy me this
legendary grandma. we all love Mhproductions3162's grandma❤

This really is a great iteration of Spidey. I was able to snag one recently on BBTS. Keeping him minty; I love that retro packaging.
Yeah I saw they got him in stock! I’m glad others are able to get him.
I wasn't so thrilled about cel shading but it looks good on this figure.
2:27 I'll have to respectfully disagree with you on this one, chief. I don't know if you have seen the actual show but Animated Spidey is probably the biggest Spider-Man in any cartoon before or after. A lot of people (myself included) think this figure would've worked a lot better in the retro/ryv buck. Not debating on which is the better mold but if we're speaking in terms of accuracy, this thing is far from perfect.
I have watched the show, but I still think this body is fine for this version of Spidey. Toe articulation would’ve been nice, but I could always mod it with the RYV feet. I guess if they used the RYV mold then it would’ve been the same size as the VHS Symbiote suit. Still have yet to unbox my RYV figures, so perhaps my opinion will change when I do. I do appreciate your feedback though!
Agreed. Definitely smaller than he should be. It's especially noticeable when placed next to other figures like Kraven the Hunter.
@@osmanfarooqui846 yeah, I agree too after I reviewed that Kraven figure. The scale is off.
I open my retro cards the same way 😆
These cards just look too good to throw out! 😂
great video man. i really like ur style.
Found this in a second hand shop by complete accident, only complaint I have is the figure came with two left wall crawling hands (which I hear is common enough)
Luckily, a simple 10 bucks on Ebay fixes that.
I did a matte finish spray on mine and I love mine even more! Reminds me of the Neca style after the matte coating!
That actually sounds dope! How well does the finish hold on it?
@@ItsGeekEffect holds great! i mess with mine alot so no rubbing! Recommend the Krylon Matte Acrylic or any Matte spray you’re comfortable with!
Nice
😮
I have the retro card of Ben Reilly which I used for a custom
Custom version of this suit?
@@ItsGeekEffect a custom Venompool
@@vicenteamaro7369 oh, that’s pretty sick!
@@ItsGeekEffect yeah, I needed to put some clay on his arms to be like shoulder spikes
I'm ok with plastic packaging, solely because you can see any defects before buying
Am I the only one that notices that Spider-Man might be too skinny? That's a problem. I've noticed of a lot of Hasbro figures. They have large heads but skinny bodies they're copying more of the comic book book will and that's spectacular, Spider-Man. Look, I really wish they go back to the animated series. With smaller heads andlarger bodies like toy biz. Cause the toy biz line really killed it with the bodies and plus no cell shading that will be sweet.
Sorry to say but it’s not the r perfect choice because it’s inaccurate to the shows proportions he’s much more buffed and bigger so he needs the bigger body
I think I made mention of this in the Kraven review, but long story short, I do agree with this.
Send me one
dude it was 1967 not 1990
What was 1967?
@@ItsGeekEffectthe oldest spider man show
you are wrong @astrofos it came out in 1994
figure too small
Its ok i like it smaller easier for stop motion
