I have added an animation to a character’s existing animations and saved them together, yet when I open the Fighter Factory again after closing them, I only see the collision boxes and the sprites are absent. Do I still have to add the sprites for them to show up with the animations without them missing the next time I start Fighter Factory?

Mate My character is broken. It's the Inuyasha from infinity mugen but since none of the pictures were .bmp, I had to convert them with a batch photo converter. Now they have a watermark and after adding all those colors to my palette, the transparency literally makes the sword and his hair become transparent. This is a problem. HELP.

So when I tried to run mugen it said that there was an error in the cmd file. After looking at your previous video, I remembered that there was a command editor. The reason that everyone keeps getting these errors is because the fighter factory no longer adds a command.

It is literally because neither your character is broken (Ex. Intro, animations, etc.) and/or the palettes. The palette is the only reason why it shows "error loading p1" because neither your char didn't create a palette or it is unreadable.
I know it's 2 years old but incase someone else wants to know... 1. You go to Constants (next to animations) 2. and there you find: [Size] xscale = 1 yscale = 1 3. then you just change the number, if you want to scale down you can use fractions: [Size] xscale = 0.420 yscale = 0.420

Hey, I was wondering if anyone knew a solution to this problem, I believe I've properly followed all of your steps I can see my idle standing animation looping and performing properly in Fighter factory, I've saved it and all but when I run it in MUGEN there are no visible characters. their names are above the health bars but the actual fighters are invisible. It would be much appreciated if someone could help me out with this, thanks!
+Yei Garcia Thanks! But there really is much you can do about your character being too big. Technically, you can scale the sprites of your character, so that they can appear smaller in the game. The problem with this, is that it would make it hard to position the collision boxes. The simplest way to fix would be to try to make the sprites smaller or to find smaller sprites. What Sprites were you trying to use specifically?
amm well,Im using Nu-13 sprites from blublaze series to make her in a different style haha, they were for hires characters I guess, i would try to scale them then hehe thanks a lot Ace

+Danilo Colombo Go to your character's cns file. At the top you should see a section called data. Beneath that, there is a section called size. Change the values of the x and y scale. To make your character smaller, change the values to a decimal.(0.9 to 0.1). Hope this helps. Good luck with your character.

No shenanigans here. I wouldn't spend hours of my time to post videos on how to get an error message. This is how I make all of my characters. I never get this error message, when I use this process. I honestly don't know why you, or other people are getting it; but if you send me your character I'll try to figure it out.

+Luke12C It's all good, and thanks. You can save your character folder as a .rar. Then send it to me. To do this, you need to download winrar. It's a free program that you can use to compress and archive files. Once you download it; right click your character folder and select add to archive. Then send me the .rar file.

Nvm i figured it out. I just misspelled my cns file
I save the file, then when I try to reopen it later the hitbox is still there but the sprite is gone.
