Nice images David. In the past I have had some great and colourful sunsets in May when I always used to have a week in the Lakes. But with the British weather it's always a gamble. Cheers.
Nice David - I have found early June to be the best month for sunset there. It took me four years to get an image I was fully happy with due to the tight time window and getting the right conditions!
I really like the shot at 10:33. I’ve only been there once, walked up from Buttermere, had a cup of tea in the bothy, it started to rain in that typical Lakeland fashion where it comes down in diagonal sheets, so trudged back to the car and went home. At least the dog enjoyed himself…
This site (Warnscale) appears as if it might make an interesting long term project: Taking the same photo from the same vantage point over a long period of time, then assembling those shots into a time lapse. Unfortunately at 24 to 30 FPS that would involve a *LOT* of hiking LOL 😀 not to mention other technical issues such as repeating the exact same placement, same FOV, exposure, etc. But it would be cool, to say the least. Beautiful location.
Thank you for your thoughts. Yes, it would be cool but not the sort of commitment I could make at the moment. You are talking a minimum three round trip from home to get just one frame.
Limey brilliant sunset 🌇 nice 👌 😊
Thank you for your kind words.

Thank you. I only go out for sunset when there is at least a small chance for some colour but nothing is guaranteed.

Thank you so much for taking the time to both watch and comment.

@@keswicklimeyphotography Thank you for producing these videos. They take me back to my youth - ah, those halcyon days…
Youth! Is that when nothing ached and things took half the time they do now.
@@keswicklimeyphotography Yup! It that time in life when it doesn’t take 5 minutes to put your socks on! 🤣
