Possum is back!! This video has been planned for a while, but I only recently was able to finish it (first delayed by some serious artblock, then by my drawing tablet breaking and me needing to find a replacement lol), so!! I'm happy I was able to finally finish this video up :) here we get a look at what Possum's life was like before The Incident

Possum is a former warrior of Micaclan, and a pretty care-free guy! He makes friends easily, but can find it difficult to make deeper connections. The one exception to this is his friend, Sweetpea. Something about her makes it easy for him to open up and be himself; however, there are times when she reminds him of the people he's left behind...

GOD.... THE USAGE OF THE SAME LYRICS TO MEAN COMPLEYELY DIFFERENT THINGS IN THE TWO VIDEOS... WITH THE TONE CHANGING FROM THE LIGHT RED TO A DARKER BLUE-ISH TONE, ALMOST SIMILAR TO GULLYTUFT'S... DUDE 🥺🥺🥺🥺 God the Mudpaw story has me in a chokehold. Every character has their depth and time to shine, to be a protagonist for a little, and that's so admirable. Your art is also just lovely my lord !!!! Good Stuff dude !!😊

Honestly, seeing Possum in this video has made me think that there was a sliver of a chance he could've not returned to Micaclan after Sweetpea's death to save their son.
I'm not saying he's a bad father, he was doing what he thought would save his kit, but this PMV also shows a side to Possum's life that maybe he was a respected member of this cat colony/group while also missing his old clan. Maybe even regretting his decision of abandoning them.
It's made me think that bringing Muddy to Micaclan both fueled by desperation and also grief in his prior decision to abandon them. After all, he had no way to know if Micaclan even had any nursing cats. It was a shot in the dark.
Least, that's my speculation.
They’re so cute together oh my goodness. It only makes the ending of their story so much more sad. Also, I had a thought, I don’t recall Possum dying at any point. Maybe he’s still alive… and maybe there’s a chance that he’ll meet Mudpaw… just a theory but I’d love to see it happen.
Holy CRAP, having two separate PMVs with the same song but different characters to contrast their connected stories is AMAZING. Love each and every one of your videos on MicaClan, Riley 🥰🥰 It’s so fascinating to gradually collect slivers of details like this to put the wider story together!

Gods, your art is gorgeous. It’s amazing seeing the contrast between the two siblings lives, even just the vibes of the two video are different. Possum is such a CUTIIE! And Gullytuft just misses her brother :( they are both just trying their best and I love them. So sad how things turned out

I love these so much!! Redmaggedon is the first song I ever heard from sodikken. The way the lyrics sound and feel different based on tone, color, and the story is such an amazing way to constrast how the two siblings feel after Possum left.
we got two pmvs in one day; each with absolutely fabulous storylines and animation, and songs, just everything. i love them both, and all your other work; you never disappoint.

I love how mysterious Sweetpea seems so mysterious. Possum really likes her, and their friendship is adorable, but something’s off with her and it sets a nice mood.

It would be interesting to see Mudpaw meet his father for the first time. I’m not sure if Possum is still alive right now, but perhaps…

I’m absolutely breathless with the fact that in Gullytuft’s part when we see her memories about her brother Possum’s face is missing. Because Gallytuft has long forgotten how her bro looked like. And in Possum’s part we actually have his face but when he looks at Sweetpea and she reminds him of his sister her face is illegible because Possum looks at something awfully familiar but also forgotten to the point he is not sure what exactly it is and who she reminds him of.

He basically left because he wasn’t happy living the clan lifestyle! He loved his clanmates and the territory, but he felt stifled there, and decided to leave to try to find a place where he could feel fulfilled in life :)
