Fighting climate change is not about dump all gas engines and replace by electronic cars. Would be more about no more cars at all,and intelligent transportation systems instead (for the first time in modern history). The point is about REDUCING Emissions and not ADDING emissions. Most people didn't get shit about climate disruption
@@simonjowitt3692 Our greatest mining lands are our dumpsters. Since everything that's ever been extracted/produced ends up in the trash, would be kinda nice to start using our brains for the first time. Ressources are rare, they require alot of energy to extract, time to consider ressources as they really are, for the first time in modern history. Recycling trucks are still (today) collecting recycled materials on the streets, previously sort by people and where are those trucks going? Hell yeah, in the dumpsters ladies and gentlemen.! Thank you for sorting the materials. To get ourselves out of this shithole, is electric cars the solution..?..... Mmmmmmmm absolutely not. The general concept of progress is a myth. To stay in the transportation topic, I'll give you a shocking example. Traveling with a Horse is FAR more better for the environment than all the madness surrounding automotives systems that is literally killing us. It is EXTREMELY Energy consuming. Did you know that there are the same amount of energy in 1 liter of fuel than what a human being can produce working a full year.? Approximately 85% of the energy coming from the fuel tank will end up in heat or friction. Till this day, our so wonderful "technological" cars have more in common with a heater than an "moving device" Our culture and beliefs are greatly outdated to face the disruption in progress.
@@simonjowitt3692Almost none of these car manufacturers would have bother making something better if it wasn't the greatly needed kick in the ass given by Tesla. Otherwise we would still buy hybrid cars that cost 10 000$ more, for an old technology based on a "stator technology". This proves to me, the absence of leadership, no one even tried something else seriously before tesla
