    Step your moonshine up by using Amylase the next time you make some corn liquor with this easy to follow recipe. Anytime you use Amylase it makes your first run that much better before sour mashing.
    If you need some high temp alpha and gluco amylase check out my buddies Moonshine Shua, and Prohibition 1920 at Broken Bones Distillery.

    Very cool, thank you man. Found your channel a few months back and appreciate your spin on things. Finally finished my keg still with a mile hi duel pro tower, upgraded from the football still. I have ideas to buy a mason gin basket setup from you i just want to swap it from the football still to the mile hi setup somehow..(2 different flanges of course). I have ideas just need the cash. Appreciate your webcast as well, it was a great idea. If you can have a spot on specific yeasts and what you guys use or suggest that would be pretty interesting. Anyway, thanks again, appreciate all you guys like George, Still it, Boarded, etc.. im just a guy in NY and have noone to get any apprenticeship from..

    Thanks for putting out these videos to help guys like me. I have a question that is a little off topic. I have a mash going with 30lbs of grain in 11 gallons of water. It is fermenting real good with bread yeast but I was wondering if I should stir it up after a couple days to allow the yeast to get to any sugars that might be hiding out underneath all that grain?

    • @philbillymoonshine7356
      @philbillymoonshine7356  Год назад +1

      It will usually get the sugars with out any help but wither way is fine, if you want to stir it then it will not hurt anything.

      The alpha con go in at anything under 190f the gluco goes in at room temp or anything under about 90f

    Ive been told by a candy chef that i should try invertase enzyme...is anyone familiar with using it in brewing?? He says its amazing at breaking down most starches and complex carbs to fructose.also being he's in the food business its fine for consumption he knows his shit i just dont want to ruin a mash over food versus alcohol production techniques. According to Him, I could get another up to fifteen percent of sugar after the analyze 😅 id love to get some feed back from other experienced brewers/distillers

      If you think about it thats pretty damm smart. You dont lose a drop of liquid that way. You can also build a false bottom mesh in the bottom of your still so it easier to remove grains if you wanted to use them for sour mash.
