    another great video. I bought the 2017 EX-L about a month ago in Lunar Silver and Black interior. I traded in my 2007 CRV LX that I bought new exactly 10 years ago. What a difference! Keep up the good work on these videos, they are the MOST informative I've seen compared to the hundreds of reviews out there.

      mjadamci how’s fuel economy and overall maintenance?

    • @barbz_zayne
      @barbz_zayne 2 года назад +1

      @@TriniGamerGirl7 Lol I know this is a very late reply. But I own a 2021 CR-V EX-L and my maintenance has been fine so far. Just tire rotations and oil changes. Gas mileage is around 32-34 normally for me. And I also had a 2019 CR-V EX-L which got the same gas mileage and the maintenance was just the same. And I will note my 2021 is slightly faster on acceleration than my 2019 was. The headlights are also very bright, especially on high beams, but if you want the really bright ones get the Touring. But the only differences between EX-L and Touring for $3,500-$5,000 (depending on if you get AWD or not) is that the Touring has standard AWD, LED headlights, 19in rims, foot activated power liftgate, wireless phone charger, built in navigation (although I prefer CarPlay navigation), heated steering wheel, and low speed auto braking (EX-L is 15-95 mph, Touring is 0-95), and an amazing Premium Audio system.
      So if you want those things, I would recommend the Touring, but the EX-L is a great value.
      Touring - $36,500
      EX-L AWD - $33,000
      EX-L FWD - $31,500

    I am glad they are swapping the lane watch cameras for the blind spot monitors. The lane watch was very silly in my opinion and the bsm actually is something you use.

      You're kidding, right? The camera is awesome. I love it on my 2013 Accord. I leave it on while driving on the highway and I can switch lanes without taking my eyes off the road. I hate bsm.

      Not sure if you're still in the market for one but if you're looking at anything above the LX trim, try to find one in Molten Lava. By far my favorite. Lunar Silver and Obsidian Blue are also pretty nice and can even be found on the LX.

    Can you do a review on just the EX feature of this car?

  • @oldgoat50
    @oldgoat50 4 года назад +1

    Well I have a 17 EX-L with nav with 12000 miles bought new. Had a new battery put in at 14 months and was the shortest time frame in my 52 years of owning a car. Had to have 2-3 updates that were on recall from Honda and now the famous oil dilution problem with the turbo. Just wondered how others feel about the car 3 years later? And the shift knob broke off and had a recall on that also.

    • @CarConfections
      @CarConfections  7 лет назад +2

      And technically, if you look at our comparisons the Rogue lost against the CR-V and the CR-V lost against the CX-5.

    hello, i wonder if the honda crv is goin to come out with a hybrid or a plug-in hybrid?

    • @CarConfections
      @CarConfections  7 лет назад +2

      Considering that the RAV4 and Rogue now both have hybrid models and they are this cars biggest competitors, I would anticipate that Honda will add a hybrid to the CR-V. But, of course, they haven't announced anything officially yet. Thanks for watching!

    CRV should have a bigger engine available 2L TURBO from Accord 252 hp with 10speed. That would be MORE complete CRV.

    • @ravenjames3873
      @ravenjames3873 6 лет назад +1

      you don't need that much power, this isn't a sports car it's designed for small families. now they could've did a little more than a 190 hp, but it works regardless. i think 200 hp would've been the sweet spot, but it is what it is. not a big deal.

    • @captainjack6890
      @captainjack6890 6 лет назад +1

      A CRV so equipped ( call it a CRV Type S or RS) would absolutely be insane. But as it is, this 1.5T engine is more than sufficient
