Halisi, thank you & Ric for having Cartess as a guest on your podcast. Whenever he & his Day Trader friend--Robert--get together, it's a hilarious time. His friend's lack of Spanish, usually gets him an unexpected end than what he expected. Great podcast, and I listened to the very end. Celeste, in the A-T-L ☘️
@Move Abroad and Thrive I cannot than you enough for all the information you've shared. Mérida is my starting point, and maybe my home. My son was recently diagnosed with Bipolar Disorder; we're in the beginning stages. I immediately found comfort in what you shared. Now, I don't have to be worried about him should he come to visit for a while. I TRULY cannot thank you enough.
🥰 - You are MORE than welcome. We believe in transparency around here because we never know who might need that information. I think you're going to find that there are quite a few countries/cities that you will find excellent and affordable health care that also take a more holistic approach.
My daughter is being treated for Schizophrenia ... She was diagnosed here and the doctor we found has been absolutely amazing. We had a few scary incidents but the doctor we have is absolutely awesome. Shoot me and email if you need his contact info. He specializes in adolescents. My e-mail: cartess@cartessross.com
Just watched the replay and subscribed to "Move Abroad & Thrive". He reminds me so much of my brother. Great conversation and eager to watch his videos to learn more about his girl's education abroad. We have a son their age and we are not waiting until HS is over to make our exit. Thanks for this new resource & for all of the information!
Our pleasure and thank you for watching. Cartess is the man when it comes to Merida MX. Mexico is great and you don't have to get plug adapters. LOL - but we can see the USA influence in the tourist areas...we try to avoid those areas at all cost.
I love Cartess:s and your videos from Queretaro. I was born in Chicago in October 1942. I was 20, when I started to travel. Mean people come on all colors. But I know how to smile and drove them Crazy, Attack me and R. I. P. Queretaro is safe. Beautiful and 70% less expensive. The weather is cool.
Hey there, you are absolutely right! One of my girls lives in Querétaro with her family. Have you seen this video? ruclips.net/video/Ynqxx6SaKAw/видео.html
Yep that's what I want to do is rap with the older folks. So glad to see Mr Cartess on your channel. I have learned a lot following him and his family. New subscriber.

JAJAJA, not tenda, but Tienda, in Mexico are small mom and pop stores. When we think of a supermarket or supermercado we think of something different than what they have here. Supermarkets in the states are super big and have even more than what I've seen in Continente or Pingo Doce. mini-mercado may be similar to a tienda in Mexico.
Just started watching and enjoy your channel and I am recently retired and I'm interested how you changed your negative net worth. We are planning to move abroad and researching our options.
Welcome aboard! I'm glad that you found us. How did we change our net worth? 😓 painfully. HAH, just kidding. But seriously, the first thing that we did was eliminate ALL non-collateralized debt. That's the biggest thing for most folks. I've included a link to our Ready to Retire Toolkit, a series of 3 emails explaining the steps come with. bit.ly/readytoretiretoolkit We will be LIVE in 2 hours - join us and ask more questions.
I don't understand how the police let someone tell them how to handle a situation. They are the authority. If they didn't want him to go to jail it should've been settled at that decision. Trying to act like they had no choice but to send him to jail. Trust me had Cartess slid those police 500 pesos all of a sudden he'd be cleared to go home in peace.
I enjoyed chatting with you all ... Thanks for having me on! Can't wait to interview you all LIVE!
Cartess, you are the BEST. Your transparency and giving heart is so apparent! Thanks for all that you do to help folks move abroad and thrive!

Thanks for your prerspectives. I'm very dispirited with America, many things....Gives me hope that I might have options.
You’ve got options. Both Mexico and Portugal have fairly easy requirements!!
I’m definitely looking to make this move. My husband and I need to transition our finances to make it possible

@@OurBlackUtopia indeed 😊
Tenda in portuguese is tent not grocery store (mini mercado, mercado or mercearia).

@@OurBlackUtopia Yes!
Mom and pop stores - mini-mercado/mercearia
Pingo Doce/Continente - super mercado
Street "tienda" (tenda) - mercado/feira
