It looks like there is some interest in reading The Hunger Games together! I'm happy to promote a bit of a readalong for the series leading up to the release of Sunrise on the Reaping. I'll post in the community tab when I plan to get started with it and we can chat about it then 😊
I love the idea of doing TBR prompts instead of just writing book names on the slips of paper. I'll have to try that in the future! I'm trying to read more YA next year and Oathbound sounds good. Thanks for sharing it! Also, I just started Bread of Angels today and am really enjoying. This is my first Tessa Afshar book and I totally get the hype behind her now!
I LOVED Lady in Attendance! It’s one of my favorite books by Rachel. Also, I cannot wait to read Oathbound by Victoria McCombs, I really enjoy her writing style!
Fingers crossed you pick My Phony Valentine up in February! 🤭💕 Oh, I’m interested in Oathbound! I have Mortal Queens by that author. If I enjoy that one, I’ll definitely pick up Oathbound!
Both yours truly Thomas and Jewel of the Nile we're excellent books that I read in 2024 because my library did not have the exact title from that author that you recommended at the time. Please enjoy! I just finished Jewel of the Nile in November so, my recollections of it are still fairly fresh. I imagine you will enjoy the mystery of it. Hope and pray you have a great New Year! 🤗
I would absolutely do a buddy read for The Hunger Games series. Sadly, I've never read this series (seen the movies, own the movies) but haven't read the books yet. It's my number one backlist series to read in 2025. Reading this series at 45 for the very first time is crazy, I know, but I'm excited to FINALLY check it out! 😉👵🏻
Yayy I’m so excited for you to read The Hunger Games!! 😁I’m not even kidding I just finished reading that book 2 days ago for the first time and I loved it! On the second book now so I can’t wait to hear your thoughts!
The Sweetheart Fix looks so good! Besides Red Queen I also want to read a Christian nonfiction called Misled by Allen Parr. Other than that I have no idea what I'm going to read.
@ I’ve seen some of the movies years ago but never picked up the books. At that time, I definitely wasn’t into reading as I am now!🥰 The only social media platforms I use are RUclips and TikTok 🫶🏻 but I’d love to chat!
Oathbound sounds interesting. I've been curious about it. However, some of the reviews on Good Reads made it sound like there was blood involved (I don't do well with blood, fictional or real)
