I met this group a few years ago at a small event in Oakland. My friends brother did some promoting for them. I had no clue who they were at the time. Every time I hear these guys I get chills and a sudden feeling I'm elsewhere. In a different time, back when I was about 12. I remember my friends brown house and the good times we shared with his family. It reminds me of trying cannabis for the first times and all the doors its opened and the friends I've made because of cannabis. I'm the same age as you and maybe because I didn't have a particularly great childhood I am actually glad I get to live in my own space and dictate how I live my life at my own pace. He passed away last week after a long illness and this song was just playing "I want to go home" on Sirius right after I heard the news. It made me feel that he was at peace!

Every time I hear these guys I get chills and a sudden feeling I'm elsewhere. In a different time, back when I was about 12. I remember my friends brown house and the good times we shared with his family. It reminds me of trying cannabis for the first times and all the doors its opened and the friends I've made because of cannabis. This song inparticularly makes me miss California and all my childhood friends. Things were so simple back then no responsibilities. Just pure childhood. I'm 24 now and I can't help but cry when I hear this song because of how different things are. The people that have come and gone or long since past. I love you all!

Cannabis really opens a lot of doors. My life pre and post discovering weed is incomparable really. I'm the same age as you and maybe because I didn't have a particularly great childhood I am actually glad I get to live in my own space and dictate how I live my life at my own pace. Gotta take the highs with the lows, and always remember there's not much two joints in the morning and at night can't help heal.

I grew up in South Florida. Born and raised 24 years in a little place called Stuart. It's a beautiful coastal city that sits on the Atlantic. As life would have it, I moved to Pittsburgh and have been land locked for 10 years. This song expresses my feelings to a tee. There is something about the ocean that calls to you wheb you've been away too long. Like a siren. Great tune! Tonight, my neighbors will enjoy it as well 🤘
Small world. I grew up in west palm, 25 years. And I feel you on the stick. I'm not landlocked. I'm actually by the ocean, but I'm gone. I went home and left everything behind. So a lot of his music really hits home for me. Scott is so talented. I hope he keeps making music for as long as I am still alive.
Saw them for the first time in Lake Worth. I’ve also seen them in West Palm at SunFest and all over Florida. Lived there 17 years and recently moved back home to Savannah GA. Stuart is a nice little town, been there many times.
It's funny how we yearn for what we grew up with. I moved to Sarasota, FL area 4 years ago from Central Michigan. Every time I listen to this song, it makes me tear up because I miss my home so much. Moving to FL was a terrible decision I made, and I'm doing everything in my power to get back home.

Stick Figure found me at a vunerable time,I literally crawled out from a rock of opiate and benzodiazaprine dependancy nearly 20yrs,I felt numb and I hurt this music literally got me dancing and feeling stronger!! I love reggae and seen most the Marley brothers,I lost my interest and I danced up front stage and I met Ziggy Marley! Man I don't know the pills took everything from me that gave me life!! I was one of the first to get oxycotin in 1998! I thank God for bringing me back 😊 and to all you who make this beautiful music happen!! God bless 🙏. I'm planning on seeing Stick Figure asap 😊

Never heard of stick figure before, and it was truly one of those moments that you have only a few times in life where you find a band that is immediately your favorite, above all other bands or genres. Stick Figure is my favorite music. I used to talk about their music to one of my best friends who played the guitar, loved dogs, fishing, boating, the sea and music. He passed away last week after a long illness and this song was just playing "I want to go home" on Sirius right after I heard the news. It made me feel that he was at peace!

This song.......reminds me of where i come from and where im going. even where i TRULY belong. I left the ghetto in san diego at 21 joined the military. Deployed to afghanistan. Left everything i knew behind grew into a better person. Along the way i dealt with PTSD and reckoning with my inner demons and toxic attitudes leftover from the ghetto and my family.
When he says "i wana go home, i wana go home...." my soul knows that this world is not my true home. I am connected to love that transcends human understanding. Thank you stick figure for giving a voice to that deep connection and longing
Went to see Stick Figure with my boyfriend who is a fan. I'd never really heard his music but am a huge Sublime and Dirty Heads fan. I instantly became hooked on Stick ! I listen every single day since the concert , it plays in my head daily and even my kids love it and it puts my 1 year old to sleep peacefully .... literally life changing! Man, my father passed away May 10 some of my closest people at my house. We were having some few beers and stuff missing and Dad my wife was recording as we were hanging out. My best friend was playing this song never heard this song or this guy before this song, missing my dad fishing beach rides out. I love this song so much.
