my 89 civic hatchback came with a smoke screen
it makes sense
+Craqerzrus lol
haha
gotta change the oil bro
+Craqerzrus broke ass shut the fuck up
Just looks like someone is doing one of those clutch burnouts haha
+Alex Stern Thinking about that corvette, arent you?
you, i like you sir
I wonder why would you have to press the accelerator for this to happen
Couldn’t they just install a device for it? That maybe works with a switch? Water vapor maybe?
@@Hakimfarhatthey probably dump transmission fluid into the exhaust.
@@antoombom9584 apparently its an actual fog machine built into the underside rear of the vehicle. the car was retrofitted by armormax, all info on their website. still no clue why you have to get on the gas though.
To be fair, you can do that with any range or Land Rover that’s got more than 60,000 miles on it 😂
Bro fr😂
Standard feature.
I made a "smoke screen" on my first car when I was 14 that consisted of a windshield washer setup from a bone yard mounted to squirt a mix of things on the exhaust to create smoke. I made some tirejax (caltrops/tire poppers) and were released by an electrically telescoping car antennae motor opening the bay holding the tirejax and then spreading them the width of a 2 lane highway
I'm no electrician and know nothing but its great to build stuff
You had an car when yöu were 14? Damn
The smoke is useless if it takes that long
While in a chase it's perfeclty fine, it's supposed to keep giving smoke too for a while.
it doesn't take long, it works by injecting things into the fuel, so he had to rev the engine to get it going. if the car was already moving it wouldn't take long at all
@@TheFleetAdmiral33 typically smokes screens, (At least the systems used in Armoured warfare during WWII-Current) involved spraying the smoke liquid in or on the hot surface/exhaus, then channeling and fanning the smoke out behind the vehicle. Probably reved to get the pipes hot. I can't imaging running something like that through the engine.
Yep. Watch Goldfinger for a real smoke screen! Actually they're not that hard to make. You just need a 12v water pump that injects diesel into the exhaust manifold. I saw some crazy Swede put one in his Volvo 850.
@@adrianl7147 yes it's in the hot exhaust probably spraying at the catalytic converter why don't they use propylene glycol like what's in E-Cigarettes there would be no residue left behind like diesel
1:30 when you're to cheap to get new tires
All Indian Cars are equipped with smoke screen. Also equipped with Anti-witchcraft abilities( lemon, cillies and camphor tied rope)
😂
Standard with every diesel :-)
Wouldn't even notice that smoke at 50 mph.
We are actually looking for people to drive behind us and test it. Let us know when you are around to see for yourself.
And does it work like a squid’s ink and what is the oil spray I read about on your website but it doesn’t have a page about it under extra options?
@@MarkBurton1
Where is the additive used to make this white smoke stored? Is it stored under the hood next to the engine block?
@@MarkBurton1
And how could I sign up to test the smokescreen if you're looking for someone or has someone else done it?
is there a way to install pepper spray foggers to disperse crowds.?
you already have mustangs to deal with the crowds
triggered????
supercarspotter not really im pretty chill but its the douchebags that hit the crowds not all mustang drivers
it was meant to be a joke i have had a mustang myself and 99.9 procent dont crash
sean Actually there is, but I don't think they can legally be used on civilian cars. Some governmental protective agencies do have them, such as the vehicles used by the Secret Service and the protective details for foreign diplomats and US Ambassadors.
Would be perfect for tailgateters 💯
What if it was actually available on demand when you needed it? That would actually be cool.
Great idea - we actually have a switch that can activate it on and off. Thanks for commenting.
I think it has great timing, as you are being chased or have the suspicion that someone is tailing you. The minor Delay will have the suspect confused.
🥹 I need this on an RX7
@@Armormax how does this work u spray oil inside the exaust so it heats up and evaportaes witch makes smoke ?
@@Armormax
Is it usually a switch because I've seen it as sometimes a button to keep your finger on as long as you need the smoke until you loose your persuers.
Dumb question, why do you have to rev the crap out of the engine. Couldn't there be a kinda fog machine setup that shoots out the back? Maybe I'm missing something
Not a dumb question. The vehicle isn't moving but when it is moving you do not need to press the pedal as much.
The setup drips diesel into the tailpipe to create smoke
You should think about adding another set of oil spray tubes, but have them up higher so when they're turned on, they put a mist in the air and coat the windshield of the vehicle behind you. That, and the smoke would really slow them down to damn near a stop until they can clean off the oil on the windshield. Could maybe even use some sort of oil based paint mixed with the oil to really reduce visibility.
I think the oil spray on the road is questionable at best, UNLESS it's raining out and the road is wet, and then you can get that oil to float on top of the water. Now you can deploy it on a high speed turn, and then the trailing vehicle has a VERY good chance of hydroplaning off the road. Keep up the great work.
looks like a usual RR exhaust
the same smoke I saw it at highway this morning by a old toyota avalon lol
I wonder if a person can buy one of those smoke screens?
I've heard they can from armormax the same people who armored the Range Rover in this video.
i know a guy whose family has multiple bulletproof chevy suburbans for multiple branches of the family
Did armormax armor this Range Rover?
i wont call the smoke screen effective unless i see the car actually running cuz it just seems the enemy could just move to the right
FaZe CrAzY626 colored smoke will do better
Skyhighblu more like a dark blue would work better
Would love to have some of these options on my car....
Are the tires on this thing run flats? And do the doors have the stock locks? Or deadbolts?
What is an oil spray tube? Why doesn’t it mention this on the website?
I should put the smokescreen system in my Explorer, would handle tailgaters nicely.
It’s a option built into every Explorer from the factory. It activates automatically after so many miles. It is not able to be activated by the owner, but when the mileage is reached. It is not set at a certain mileage, but is activated at a random perimeters. Once activated, it can not be deactivated. Some owners like this feature, while other owners do not. This is not an option that is to be chosen or not, nor by any of the owners throughout the Explorers lifetime.
Enjoy your Explorer, and it’s plethora of options, standard by Ford. Ford Motor Company appreciates your patronage, and wishes you a enjoyable time with your purchase of your Ford product.
add cayenne pepper to smoke oil
Smoke at 1:14
Was the honking necessary 🤯
Is all this white smoke coming out the exhaust?
I can still see the car with the screen...
For all the ''takes to long" people, I assume it would be faster if the car is driving.
Lol this is the gta online dlc baller
The Nitro Gamer technically the Baller is the Range Rover since it was designed off of it not the other way around but I think it's so funny how easy it is to tell what they based the cars off of . . . 😂😂
when you can't see the car in the smoke, just follow the noise of it..
89 Mitsubishi Galant came standard with everyday mosquito/smoke screen with 2sec full smoke no options to turn off passing police
POlice? what police? lmao
Loud and uneffective if i was the designer i would just attach smoke granades on the chasis that are activated with a switch inside of the car.
+Igor K maybe english isn't his first language you ugly ass lookin' boy
Igor K But you are an ugly, fat, 4 eyed, piece of shit, It's not my native language ignorant fuck

Igor K Everyone makes mistakes and I hardly doubt someone as stupid as you speaks multiple languages, please fuck off.
+Igor K bought your first Rolex but you still choose to argue with kids? Jesus fucking Christ... Your a grown man not a child... And a Rolex isn't an accomplishment we have 5 in our household
USELESS you need 10 times the amount of smoke 10 times faster.
Does Bruce Wayne own this?
seems like the smoke screen is that engine cleaner you spray into the air intake, smokes the same way look it up.
This version is actually bad for the car, they tuned the car so it injects more fuel to make it appear as if it was just a spray of smoke. It's horrible for the environment and the car itself.
They use anti freeze also. Well Audi does
what is the smoke for??
if someone is tailgating them, they release smoke so they can't see the vehicle. They then flee
thanks lil kid lol .That makes sense.
+Jordan Feliciano that or they rear end the crap out of the truck lol
It is if this Range Rover is being chased or followed the white smoke works like a squid or octopus’s ink.
Now why not test it against HE gun cannons of WWII or such?
So what if it was a VERY BIG bored HE gun cannon - so suppose:
1.) 75 mm HE shells from the Sherman Tank or the Panzer IV
2.) 88 mm HE shells from the Tiger I Tank
2.) 105 mm M101 / M102 HE shells?
3.) 122 mm Soviet gun cannons?
4.) 152 mm gun cannons?
5.) 155 mm gun cannons?
6.) 130 mm gun canons?
7.) Or even 175 mm gun cannons or bigger gun canons? So like the 203 mm Howitzers? Or 300 mm HE siege guns?
because those are all anti tank guns. this sir is a car, while armored, probably not as armored as the armored vehicles the military uses, which those guns would destroy in a single hit
Jake Bergren Hello again! But WHAT IF IT was at an angle? Or you still would need a lot of luck and a faulty shell? I mean I heard stories of well a Sherman or '34/85' managing to SURVIVE a shell from a 75mm or 88mm shell due to being at an angle ... when it woudl normally punch through them
Jake Bergren But doesn't HE have bad armor penetration? Hence the HE punch would not damage the car as much as say a HVAP shell or such?
really nice
Smokescreen is just a dpf bypass with regen...
Looks a bit weak.. Need to pre-heat the oil..
+Igor K Plain water doesn't work. It will quickly diffuse into the air. It's probably glycerin and water.
Igor K Some oils also work. Kerosene can produce a very thick cloud
Low amounts of kerosene is not toxic. Obviously continuously releasing it into the atmosphere isn't the best but, that's not the point of this application.
Mustard gas is not easily acquired. It also harms everyone in the area while having little biological effect to the people chasing you if their windows are up.
Dope dope dope!!!
It takes a minute for it to start working, and 8,000 RPMS, I think it'd be quicker to Burnout and Roast the Donuts.
Does it look effective? To me it doesn't
Lol my uncles Lada makes that smoke.
+Luca Molari depend on wind condition
+Tasu 1 that means there's an oil problem coming out into the exhaust... Get that checked
You probably don't drive and If u do - I wonder how good of a driver u are
Really thats your marketing campain?
Ever ask why?
Awesome
Nice
Who needs the smoke when you can just get a pd130
Can anyone tell me where to find the horn that sounded like those transformer cars
Diesel or oil in the exhaust would create a better smoke screen
+Igor K Pretty sure smokescreens are illegal in general for civilians
Igor K
Okay, did not know that's how it works. Thanks for the info!
+ThierryTheuns he made that up! Lmao you can't use smoke screens in general. His facts aren't straight 😕 this is most likely a v8 tuned to inject more fuel. If you noticed, the driver of this car revs to ~7-8k RPM meaning the smoke is most likely coming from the exhaust
+emmanuel mijares Maybe forcing a diesel engine to run rich
Zip ties n bias plies seafoam
Is the oil spray actually effective tho? 🤣
the smoke screen is better :)
@@MarkBurton1 u ain’t wrong my home from another slice dog
@@MarkBurton1
Why? Just asking and in what situations would the oil spray be used that the smokescreen wouldn’t be used in? And I’ve heard of tacks too that can deflate the chasing vehicles tires. In what situations would they be used vs the smokescreen?
@@kasieream1248 most vehicles comes installed with the smokescreen.
@@MarkBurton1
And have you ever armored a Chevy Tahoe? And for the oil spray is the oil motor oil? And if on the website it doesn’t mention any tacks with the Tahoe , does that mean it isn’t comparable with them and I believe you if you say most vehicles use the smokescreen
thats crazy
100 orders for our beloved African heads of state staving taxpayers will pay ...haha
That's not a smoke screen 😂
I know a country boy that has this diesel dually thatll create a solar eclipse in broad daylight 😂
Sold
All this equipment to keep you safe but then the range rover breaks down an its all over
Wow
We were using better than that in the early 80s so i presume this is some kind of spoof
I think putting oil inside exhaust would do trick if that's for deterrence. but that spray? nope!
+Igor K that's not water 😂 why do you think he revs so high... This is obviously coming from the exhaust, just a mod they put in to inject more fuel
+Igor K this video doesn't take place in America bud
+Igor K look at the plates on the 5 series behind it
+Igor K when I was in Dubai, no one knew about emission regulations... Tell me that... They made a car called he devel 16 with a v16 jet engine
esta chingo a
puro CD.juarez
No interior...
lol that is smoke machine.hahahahah.😂😂😂
ما شاء الله لا قوة إلا بالله
Je veux une identique maintenant ..now.. Now..now
what about allah?
Nah that’s not a smoke screen that’s a blown head gasket
we get it, you vape
Wats up with those cheap ass rear bumper bilinkers ?😂
Took way too long for smoke to appear.
I thought all Land Rovers came standard with smoke
Yeah any range rover will smoke if you hold the pedal down like that 😂😂😂
It's secret service car isn't it
Sure contamination time dude
Rovers are trash.
This car will harass jdm's. Those are sick burnouts.
