April 25, 2019 | For nearly 10 years, Ben Rhodes saw almost everything that happened at the center of President Barack Obama's administration-first as a speechwriter, then as deputy national security advisor, and finally as a multipurpose aide and close collaborator. He started every morning in the Oval Office with the President’s Daily Briefing, traveled the world with Obama, and was at the center of some of the most consequential and controversial moments of the presidency. Now he tells the full story of this partnership in his book The World As It Is. Rhodes will discuss some of the most poignant, tense, and consequential moments of the Obama presidency in conversation with Center Director Shaun Casey.

As even he admitted indirectly, the line he’s taking will make it difficult to get a senate confirmation in the future. He and his book has stepped over many toes. That’s what I appreciate from reading The World As It Is, even though I’d still take his views with a grain of salt.

Why don't you back up your lame comment with a substantive idea?
