A Day in Coyoacan l Casa Azul, Coyoacan Market, Traijinera in Xochimilco

Coyoacan is 20-40 minutes away from Mexico City and so worth a day trip! It is charming in every way, and we're so glad we spent the full day there (1-2 hours won't be enough!).
We recommend a pitstop in Xochimilco to ride a traijinera and spend time in the Coyoacan market (we couldn't catch the name of the place we ate at, but if you can identify it and find it, go there. It was incredible and exceptionally hygienic!), the main square, and Casa Azul (if you're interested in knowing more about Frida Kahlo or appreciate her art!). You'll see spontaneous salsa gatherings, meet wonderful locals and discover a lot of local artists. If you love abstract, maximalist art, find Dave! (www.instagram.....
