- If your Bosch/Siemens dryer thinks water tank is full when it's not, reason is most likely dirty float switch. With this video you can clean it and fix the problem in 30minutes.

Although I have the heat pump version, this gave the right idea and I got mine fixed. But it's a little bit different. If you have the heat pump version, remove the top panel and the right hand side panel, Behind the motor and the belt you'll find a pump cover. It's iin a little bit awkward place, but removing the belt and fiddling with the motor gives you enough room. Your best friend here is a wet vacuum cleaner, the easiest solution is to keep water flowing from the opening under the water tank (the one it uses for self-cleaning the condenser) and vacuum it from the pump opening. This will flush all the dirt into the pump recess and let you clean it away. And of course, clean the pump itself.

YESSS! it worked!
It looked a little bit different (it did not have the floater but some iron parts) But you got me started. Cleaned it all up and Voila, it runs like a charm. My dryer is fine now and i can do my own maintenance from now on.Will be doing this every once in a while.

Thank you for this video! I managed to fix a Siemens E46 30 using this video. Note however that screw to remove the cover is a Torx T15 on this particular model. Good to know since it hard to see/find.

Minulla on auttanut jo pelkästään se, että olen imuroinut pois sen "möhnän" mitä vesialtaan suojakannen alta on löytynyt. Toki se edellyttää imuria, jolla voi imuroida vettä.

The whole instructions are actually here. Although this handles only the cleaning of the sensor. I had the pump already clogged, so I had to clean that too. But this video shows how to reach them, the pump is next to the sensor. ruclips.net/video/D-5WB1Pl9Nc/видео.html
